I finally track down the library after walking (dancing) through the rain for about an hour all around town looking for that library where I found the girls named Vasa and Kenzie at the front under an umbrella. "Let's go in! We need to tell you..." Vasa looks at Kenzie while saying this last part: "the plan." "What plan?" I ask, because I have no idea what "the plan" actually is. "We'll tell you inside! Because I'm freezing!!" Says Kenzie. I say goodbye to the rain and follow the two girls into the library. I brought Penelope in my pocket. I would tell them about my potatoes and q-tips after they tell me about "the plan". I also brought two of my q-tips in my other pocket for good luck. Vasa and Kenzie are whispering and walking us to a table. Then we sit down. "So..." Says Kenzie. "About that grand plan." "We want you to help us rob a bank!" Vasa blurts out, then covers her mouth just as fast. Okay! "Okay!" I answer. They look at each other confused. "Okay?" Vasa asks. "I said okay!" I reply. "Okay then we're doing it on Friday." It was Wednesday. I'm ready. "Okay we have to go... Bye Mal!" They sounded like perfectly normal teenagers. Maybe I had found friends who would accept me!! "Oh, wait!" I shout at their backs as they leave. " yeah?" Answers Kenzie. Should I tell them about Penelope and the potatoes and the q-tips? "Oh... Um never mind, I just wanted to say... Um I can't wait for Friday?" I came out more like a question. "Yeah, okay, me too... Bye!" Once they left my vision I thought I could here someone whisper my name. I ignore it though. I sit at the table for a little while longer and think about why I hadn't told them my secret. Am I embarrassed? Maybe I'm turning into a "regular" teenager... But maybe I don't want to... But that would be awesome!
I run home, and the rain is falling harder than ever. I can't wait for Friday!
I think I found a title for the book!! I'm thinking of calling it: A "Regular" Teenager.
Comment if I should keep the title at IDK or I should change it to A Regular Teenager? I think I might post tomorrow night.
