The End

We got out of the car, he had no movements.  He hadn't even tended to the gunshot.  He had a evil mad look on his face.  It turned into a grin.  "Thought you could get rid of me Nick!?!" He screamed.  "Well you were wrong, oh boy were you wrong!" He started getting worse and worse.  "NOW YOU WILL PAY!" He screamed as he charged me.  He tackled me as my pistol flew out of my hand.  No weapon, I left my shotgun and knife back at the base.  He punched me over and over again.  I started losing my vision.  James wasn't doing anything.  I get it though, he had almost died once, I don't want him to risk his life again.  Then a gunshot went off as the General fell down for good.  Daniel stood with my pistol in his hands as kicked the General, who was toppled over, howling like a little kid.  He had a bullet in his heart.  He was in misery.  "Give me the gun" I said.  "What?" Daniel said.  I took the gun.
I put it to his head.  "I dare you..." The General said. "I accepted this dare 5 months ago" I said as I pulled the trigger and he fell down, dead.  I turned towards them.  "Let's go..." I said, no more pain, no more worrying.  It was all over.  We got back to the house as Alex seemed confused on why I had so much blood on me and who Daniel was.  "No questions..." I said as I entered the room that Cassidy was in and fell asleep.  I woke to the sound of rustling.  I grabbed my gun and walked out.  I saw Cooper eating some canned beans.  "Cooper..." I said as I sat down next to him.  He whimpered as he looked at a photo that me and Megan had taken back before the apocalypse.  "She's... She's okay..." I said with concern.  "I'm not gonna lie, she may be dead... I don't know... But at least we have each other, and Alex, James, Cassidy, and the rest" I said with a little bit of confidence.  "Who am I kidding? She's been gone for a month now... She's probably gone... But... I'll miss her... We all will... I'm sorry" I said as one tear went down my cheek.  Little did I know everyone else was listening to me talk.  I turned to go to bed.  I looked at Cassidy and said "I've got your back..." As I went to sleep.
