So there we were, standing at the Franklin Regional High School entrance. Josh had already left with his group of friends, or 'jerks' as they should be called. My hands were shaking, this was the start of a new chapter of my life.
''Well, this is it'' Paige said as she entered by the door
''Here comes nothing'' I thought as I followed her
There were people all over the place. Our high school was enormus. Suddenly, I felt someone touched my shoulder.
''CHLOEEEEE!'' I yelled as I hugged her
''I made it just in time''
''And you're lucky you find us'' Paige said
''Anyway, did you already got your schedules and stuff?'' Chloe said as she showed us hers
''Yes!'' I said
We all read our schedules. I had homeroom with Chloe, science with Paige, and english with both. And as for the rest, I was completely alone. The bell rang and I went to homeroom with Chloe.
When we arrived we picked sits right next to each other. Then, I started organazing my books, and I even glue my schedule to my binder. But then, someone random plugged my eyes.
''Who's this? It's not funny'' I said
''Guess'' A familiar voice said
''I don't know''
He laughed and I immediatly knew who it was
''LEVIZZZZZZZZ'' I hugged him with joy
Leviz was my best friend since I was a baby. Our mothers were friends throughout college and he was also at my middle school until he moved to Philly. Oh! yeah, he was also Paige's first love
''Maddie, I've missed you, we should catch up sometime'' He said
''Yeah! Why didn't you told me you were coming back?''
''Because I wanted to surprise you'' He winked as he left to talk with his other friends
I continue doing my stuff until the teacher arrived. She was introducing herself when someone entered the classroom
Can you guess who it was? Yes, It was Avery.
''Hi um sorry. I got lost, My name is Avery Thompson'' She said
''Take a sit, Ms Thompson'' The teacher said firmly.
She passed by my sit giving me a fake smile, I gave her one too and then she took a sit at the back of the classroom. When homeroom ended, I headed to my next class. Then, two classes later, it was finally lunch time. Chloe, Paige and I sitted at a table together.
''Omg! I had history with Leviz and he coudn't keep his eyes away from me'' Paige said
''Do you still like him? You guys 'dated' in 6th grade and then he left'' Chloe giggled
''Well, I do, he's even hotter now''
''And what about you Mads, do you have any classes with Gino?'' Chloe said
''No'' I said
''And why do you act so cool about it? I mean, you like him, don't you?'' Paige said
''Well, I do have feelings for Gino, but what happened yesterday with Josh was magical, so I'm basically between two persons, and even though I know I will never have a chance with one of them, I still love them both and I don't know what to do, and the worst part is that I can ask my friends for help because that would reveal a lot, UGH'' I tought as I took a bite of my chicken sandwich my mom made me. I told her I was gonna eat healthy, and she actually supported me.
