* Jacquelyn's pov *
I looked down at my freshly cut arm. The cuts running up and down both arms just screamed 'kill me please'. I turn the sink on and the warm water down my arm, wincing slightly when the water stung my open cuts. The water turned a light pink when it ran down from my arm into the faucet. I dried my arm off, put a bandage on it, and got my sweatshirt.
As I walked to school, I heard various people yelling various insults out their car windows. I felt a few warm tears roll down my face and looked down at the ground. I saw everything around me, living as happily as can be, before I walked through and shared my darkness with them.
When I got to school, I hurried to my locker, trying to avoid the people that were already here. When I got to my locker, I saw it had the word 'slut' spray painted in bright red letters all across my it. I let out a small breath, grabbed my books and went to class before anything else could happen.
While I was walking, I started thinking about what would happen today. I was thinking about my scars when I felt a tall figure bump into me. I fell to the ground and let out a small whimper, as I had landed on my cut arm. "Oh my god are you okay?" The person asked.
"Y-Yeah... I think." I said slowly, looking up to his face. He had dark brown eyes and light brown hair, combed over to the side smoothly. I opened my mouth to try and say something, but no words came out. "Um, I'm Cameron." The boy I now know as Cameron said with a large smile. "I'm Jacquelyn." I said quietly, moving my long blonde hair over my shoulder. "Well I have to get to class, but maybe I'll see you at lunch?" He said confidently. "Yeah. Maybe." I said with a small smile.As I got to my classroom, I heard my teacher telling a new student where their classes would be. "Ms. Benton!" I heard Mrs. Connolly say from behind her desk. I stepped inside her classroom and saw Cameron standing in front of her. "Jacquelyn, can you show Cameron around today? It's his first day here." She asked pleasantly. "Sure Mrs. Connolly" I said with a smile, looking at him slightly. "Well, it seems Cameron has almost all classes with you, so you can show him around most of the day." She said happily. I gave her a small nod, and heard the bell ring, so I walked over to where I normally sit.
"So, you just sit back here alone?" He asked curiously. "Um, yeah I guess. Not very many people like me here so I tend to stay away from them." I explained. "Well we should change that." He said sweetly. I felt a sharp pain in my arm and looked over to see that Monica, one of the meanest girls at my school had 'bumped into' my arm. I let out a small cry and cradled my arm close to my chest. "Hey! What was that for?" Cameron asked, suddenly getting mad. "I-It's fine." I managed to get out. "Let me see your arm." He demanded. I shook my head no, knowing that I still had to show him around the school, and not wanting him to be freaked out. "Show me your arm Jacquelyn. Now." He said in a more stern voice. I still shook my head no. "Please. Show me your arm." He said getting upset. I led him out of the classroom, not wanting anyone else to see. In the hallway, I was so afraid of what would happen. What he would say or think. I gulped and slowly rolled up my sleeve slightly so only a few cuts showed. "Jacquelyn.." He said, gasping. "W-Why?" He asked, his voice wavering. I shrugged, and he took my arm, and placed light kisses up my arm, along my cuts. I let out I tangled sob, and he tried to calm me down. "I-I'm so s-sorry you have t-to d-deal with m-me. I-I'm a m-mess." I choked out. "Shhh... It's okay." He cooed. I seemed to calm down a little, still letting out small cries. Then he whispered those four words in my ear
"Everything will be okay."
