Chapter 1

Readers Pov

I woke up to the sun shining on my face. I put on my guards armor and ate some bacon. I grabbed me sword and my bow and arrows. They only allowed you to have two weapons in the guard training school so those were the ones that stood out to you the most. You put on your helmet that covered your face because theirs a rule that girls can't be guards. You hoped on your horse named (H/N) and it is dark with some white spots. And you start riding to the training camp.
~time skip to training camp~
When you arrived at the training camp it looked like everyone was in a fuss. Then a fellow guard that was your friend saw you. "Hey Mick!" he yelled. (Mick is you fake boys name) then he walked over to you. "Tim what's going on?" you asked him in a deep voice. "Oh some Kings are coming to recruit some guards for their kingdoms." then you heard them call to line up, you and Tim walked to your stances. Then the Kings walked in, as you observed the Kings one caught your eye the most. A king walked in covered in full butter armor. He's kinda cute... you thought to yourself. Snap out of it (F/N) your a guard and your not suppose to show feelings.

Sky's Pov

I just got to the guard training camp and I have Deadlox with me to help me decide on a guard. He is my most trustworthy friend so I would of course pick him to come. "Ok welcome Kings from all over the land! I have here for you the most advanced guards we have here! And to help you decide they will show you their moves!" the guard teacher said. All of the Kings went to a podium to watch. Deadlox was extremely excited because he got to see people fight in a high space, he even had popcorn. "Deadlox how dare you not share that with me." I said. "Sorry Sky, here." he said with popcorn in his mouth, I took a hand full and started to watch the show.

Reader's Pov

I was ready to fight what ever they had me to fight. What happened is they pick a creature for us to fight and so far every one lost and I was next. "Good luck out their Mick." Tim said patting you on your shoulder. "Thanks man, you too." then you heard them call your name. You headed out their and they picked a giant goblin for you to fight. You got in your stance with you gripping onto your sword.
~time skip to you betting the goblin~
The goblin fell to the floor and you were standing their. All of the guards stood their in shock because they haven't seen anything like that before. You walk back to the guards and then they called Tim's name. As Tim was fighting the guard teacher walked up to you. "Mick come with me." he said you did as he said and followed him. I wonder if I did anything wrong. Did I? you thought.
