Chapter 43 (ok ending)

Reader's Pov

Once the light dimmed down you saw a big hole with the giant squid in it. You looked around you and saw your friends passed out. You got up and looked at the hole when the squid was. You felt all of the hard work and all of the pain you've been though has finally left and you're now a new person starting over.

Sky's Pov

I opened my eyes and saw (F/N) standing in front of a giant hole. I walked up to her. "We did it." I said, she nodded her head. "But the question is, what do we do now?" she said. "I don't know but I know that I'll be with you every step of the way." I said and held her hand, she smiled. "Guys, bad news." we heard a voice said, we turned around and saw Aphmau. "What is it?" we asked her, she looked down. "It's Max, he...he wont open his eyes." she said, I saw (F/N)'s eyes widened, we both rushed over to where Max was.

Reader's Pov

You saw Max on the ground. "Max!" you said and got down to his side. You checked his pulls and he had none. You started to cry, Sky then hugged you. "I knew that, that would happen. Now I wish I didn't." you heard a voice say, you looked behind your and saw someone in a dark purple voice. "Who are you?" you asked wiping away your tears. "I don't have a name but I talked to Max but he didn't really knows me as much." she said, you noticed that she had cat ears and tail both purple and black. "What are you doing here?" Sky asked her. "I'm here to say that I'm sorry." she said. "For what?" Aphmau asked her, you and Sky stood up and she looked down, then looked back at you guys. "I made it so that Max died." she said, you all just stood their in shock. 'How...? How is the possible?' you said in your head. "I know what you're thinking, how is it possible for me to kill Max, trust me I didn't mean too. I was a thing that just watched what he does and then one day I messed with something and I was able to talk to him. Other people in my world told me to live him alone and fix the so called fourth wall but I didn't listen and then during the battle Max wanted nothing more then to help you and I saw the power level of the squid. And I knew what could've happen but I just did it otherwise all of you would've died. So I gave Max powers only for that one  battle and it was so powerful that it...it killed him. I'm sorry." she said, you looked down not knowing what to say. "But just know that since I was in his head I saw what he thought about you all. Sky, he was really happy that you were his friend. Ross, you're like a brother to him. (F/N) he loved you very much and wished that you ended up with him but he was happy that you loved Sky and wouldn't want to change that." she said and then kept on talking about what Max thought of us and what was going on in her world. A few hours later you all had a funeral for Max and berried his body in the garden of the castle. You then spent the day with Sky trying to get to know this mysterious girl and know what her next move will be.

Years have passed and you and Sky got married and had two kids. They have the same powers as you and you, Sky, and your kids have your own amulet. (D/N) had baby's with the Red dragon and they had two and they both agreed that when your kids and their's are old enough then you'll start teaching them how to ride them. Jin left the kingdom and became a famous scientist, Ross is now a squirrel living his life as a beautiful majestic squirrel. The mysterious girl lives with you in the castle training the grown up guards and little kids that want to be guards when they grow up, boy's and girls. You were in the garden looking at Max's grave with flowers in your hand and placed it down. You kissed your fingers and put it on the grave with a slight smile. "Mommy?" you heard a voice say, you turned and saw your two kids, a little boy with a blue amulet and a little girl shorter then the boy with a green amulet. "Hey kids." you said and they came and hugged you, you hugged back. "I thought I was missing a family hug." you heard Sky say and he came and joined the hug, you all laughed. "Come on kids let's go back inside." you said after the hug. "Is that the man you named me after?" the little boy said. "Yes Max, he was a close friend and he was as strong, nice and loving as you and he would do anything to protect the ones he loved." you said, Max the rushed over to his little sister and hugged her. "I will protect you no matter what Silly." he said, Silly smiled. "Ok," she hugged back. "and I'll protect you." she said. "That's not how it works." Max said breaking the hug. "I'm older I protect you." Max said. "Not the way mommy tells me, she said she saved daddy's butt all the time." Silly said, Sky then looked at you, you just smiled. You then picked up Silly and Sky picked up Max. "You both protect each other." you said. "Yeah and I saved your mommy about on times too." Sky said, you all then laughed and headed inside.
