Authors note: I've seen lots of positivity towards Lisanna! Thank you! I also can't believe how well this book is doing, it has taken off so much in the past months because of you all. I hope you all continue to enjoy the book, and I love reading the encouraging comments ( I have gotten bad at responding, sorry guys! I'll try harder ) they make writing so much more fun.
Enough rambling from me! Onto the next chapter~!

"We'll reach the ports soon, unless you want to take the canal to the center of Fiore," the short, blue haired navigator looked up from her map and to the man at the wheel, who's spiky pink hair shifted under the sea breeze's breath.
"Let's take the canal, we need some small repairs done on the ship and we have some good cargo to sell from Mirajane," the pink haired man replied. "And I have some people I want to talk to."
"Yes, Captain. Would you like to take a break now? You haven't left the helm all day, you know that can be detrimental to your health," the navigator said as she folded up her map with her dainty hands.
"I'll be fine, but thank you for the concern," his eyes refocused on the horizon and his grip shifted on the wooden wheel.
"Are you avoiding someone?" The girl asked, putting her hand on her hip.
"No," the captain replied tersely. "I was a negligent captain back on that island, I must not slack off anymore."
"You weren't negligent Captain, we where all blindsided. You know that as well as any of us here," the girl pointed out.
"So what," the Captain said, clearly growing uncomfortable under his navigators knowing gaze.
"You're avoiding someone, aren't you?!" She shakes her head. "It's Lucy, isn't it?"
"I am not avoiding her!" The captain sighs, looking at the shorter girl.
"There is no point in avoiding her," the girl raises her eyebrow.
"Maybe if I avoid her I'll stop feeling like this towards her," he mutters lowly.
"Natsu, you can't run from your feelings. You're being unfair to yourself, and you're being just as unfair to her," the girl pats his shoulder before walking down the steps and onto the main deck.
"Thanks Levy," Natsu mumbles before returning to silence.

I was currently seated on a barrel on the main deck, laughing as I talked with Gray and Wendy. Gray was telling us about how he first came to know Natsu, they had met in a bar just outside of Magnolia. Gray had been—mostly—sober when he stumbled across the "brazen fireball" that was Natsu.
"He and I immediately hit it off, within minutes we where throwing punches and insults, but the guy was so sincere when we finished. He said I just had to join him and his friends," Gray laughed and shook his head.
"He's not so reckless now, I guess he can't really afford to be," Wendy remarks. Gray nods quietly.
"I still don't know why Gramps chose him. Not that he's a bad captain but..." Gray stops, sighing. "It's just not like him." I looked up at the helm where Natsu stood, a stern look on his face. I wonder what he looks like when he's having carefree fun.
