Dakota ended up going home after apologizing to me and giving me a quick kiss. I felt bad for being so abrupt about it and I know it was rude, but it freaked me out. Trust me.. I wanna go there with her. I really do. I've just never done anything more than make out with her. Or anybody actually. I don't know if I'm ready for that. We've been together almost 6 months now, and that's huge, but I'm just not ready.
Anyway. The fair. It's this weekend, two days away. I need to come up with an outfit. It's going to be 72 degrees that day.. so I think I'm going to wear my jean shorts, with studs on the pockets, and a black crop top, with my long, floral over shirt. I'm not nervous, just anxious. Also determined to win her the biggest stuffed animal there.

Two days later, we took off around 6 for the fair. "I'm so excited!" Dakota squealed. I smiled and looked at her. "You look beautiful." I said. And she did, she was wearing a long blue dress that was longer in the back. It was just gorgeous on her. "Aw thanks babe!" She blushed. We drove up, and found a parking spot. Which wasn't easy because it was packed. It took up about fifteen minutes. We got out of the car, and started walking towards the fair grounds. "Yayyyy!!" Dakota danced as we walked through the gate. We walked around for a little bit, and played some games. I was taking her to the Ferris wheel, when we saw the one and only.. Caleb and Zach. Caleb was holding a giant Rosta Banana, and Zach was smiling. "Zach! Caleb!" I yelled to them. They turned around and smiled at us. "Hey guys!" They said while walking over to us. "Having fun?" Dakota asked them with a smile. "YASSS!" Zach said. We laughed and said our goodbyes. Dakota looked over to me and smiled. "I love you." She said to me. I kissed her cheek and led her to the Ferris wheel. We waited ten minutes until it was finally our turn. We got on, and waited until everybody else was on. We went around once, and my nerves started to kick in. Dakota seemed to notice I tensed up a little bit because she asked if I was okay. "I'm fine.." I said. She didn't seem to believe me, but didn't push it either.
Halfway to the top now..
"B-baby?" I stuttered. She turned to look at me.
Three fourths of the way up.
"I-I love you a lot." I said getting more and more nervous. "I love you so much, that I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I know we're young, but I know I'm in love with you. And I will never be able to fall out of love with you. So would you do the honor and.."
I paused, reaching in my pocket, and pulling out a ring.
We're at the top now.
"Marry me?" I whispered.
