Chapter 13

It's been a few days since I last saw Damien. I haven't told Dakota what happened, and she hasn't asked.
"Why do they only show woman in there underwear and stuff on television, but not guys? I mean it's not like I want to see the guys, but I'm just wondering." Dakota asked me. "Ummmm..." I said while laughing. "That was really random.." I choked between laughter. "Well, hey now. Don't judge me!" She said playfully. "Aw, Hun. I'm not judging.. I'm just laughing at you!" I exploded into fits of laughter and she playfully slapped me. I leaned in and kissed her softly. "I was just playing." I whispered before leaning in for more. She pulled away. "I know." She smirked. I blushed. Damn that smirk. Gets me everytime. There was a knock at the door, so I got up and went to open it. "Are we expecting anybody..?" Dakota asked me, following me close behind. "I don't think so.." I said. I went up and looked out the peep hole. "Babe." I whispered. "Get the phone." She looked at me. "What's going on?" She whispered back. "Call 9-1-1. Now." I whispered quickly. "Babe..?" She asked worriedly. "There is a man out there in a mask and I can't see his face. His hands are in his pockets, and I have a really bad feeling abou-" He knocked again. "I KNOW YOUR HOME." He yelled through the door. "IF YOU DONT OPEN THIS DOOR AN LET ME IN, I WILL BREAK IT DOWN." He yelled, louder this time. Dakota dialed 9-1-1 and shoved it in her bra. I looked at her, and opened the door. "Well hello, Ladies." The man said. "Now I need you to go into the bathroom, and shut and lock the door until I tell you too." He said. We couldn't see his face, so I didn't know what he looked like. Or if I knew him or not. Me and Dakota walked into the bathroom, and locked the door as he said. Dakota took the phone out of her bra, and whispered "hello?" "Mam?" The operator said. "Did you hear anything?" Dakota whispered. "Yes mam, I did. What is your address?" We told her our address and stayed on the phone. Just then there was a knock on the bathroom door. I quickly glanced at Dakota. "Come on out ladies." The man said. We walked out slowly. "Now I need you to do something for me.." He said softly. "You-" He said pointing at me. "Take off your shirt. I looked at Dakota. "I-" I started to say. "DID I TELL YOU THAT YOU COULD SPEAK?" He yelled at me. He slapped me across the face. I did as I was told. He looked at me, and nodded his head in approval. "Wait.." He said to us. "Are you guys together? Like lesbians?" He asked, his voice sounding excited. I looked at Dakota. "Oh my god you are. This is my lucky day." He chuckled. I took a step backwards. "WALK BACK HERE NOW." He yelled at me. I jumped about a foot in the air. His voice was so loud. I walked a step forward, approaching the spot I was in before. "No no. I've had to tell at you twice already. Two more steps forward. NOW." He yelled. I took to reluctant steps forward. He reached for me, and put his hand on my shoulder. I heard Dakota suck her breathe in. He slowly moved his hand down to my breast, then we hear the door slam open. The guys pulled a gun out of his pocket, and raised it to the hallway. Three policemen came into the room also holding guns towards him. "PUT THE GUN DOWN!" They yelled. He raised the gun towards Dakota, and pulled her into a headlock, still holding the gun to her head. "ALEX!! OH MY GOD!" She was screaming my name, and not the way I wanted her too, if you know what I mean.. "SHUT THE HELL UP!" The guy screamed. "Please don't do this please don't shoot her or hurt her please just put the gun down please!" I begged him. He looked at me and screamed for me to shut up. Just then a cop ran towards him, knocking both him, and Dakota down. The gun went off, but nobody was hurt. It put a hole in the wall. I heard myself screaming, and crying but I couldn't do anything. The cops were on too of the man, and Dakota was just laying on the floor crying. They got the man up, and escorted him outside. I grabbed Dakota and we just sat there on the floor in shock.
