Now that I realize that I'm going to be mother I think its time to repair me and my mothers relationship. I'm scared though. I haven't talked to her in almost 5 years. I think she could teach me the ropes of single motherhood. When I rode through my old neighbor hood I couldnt help but reminisce on the old days. I pulled into my old driveway and got out. I slowly started walking up the driveway and up the steps. When I made it to the front door I fought myself on whether I should knock or not. After debating with myself for 5 minutes I knocked on the door 3 times.

"I'm coming" I heard my mothers voice say. Then the door swung open and there stood a women that was as beautiful as I remembered her. Damn I look just like, Janet Rochelle Roberts, my mother.

"JuJu is that really you?" She asked me shock written all over her face.

"Yes mama" Next thing I know she wrapped her arms around me and pulled me into one of the tightest hugs. She kissed me all over my face. I didnt think my return would be this welcoming.

"Baby come on in" She said standing to the side with tears in her eyes. I slowly walked into my old home. It still looks the same. I sat down on the plush white sofa that had been there for years. I looked around wishing everything would go back to when I was little.

"So JuJu what brings you by today??" She asked me calling me the name that she has called me forever. Everybody calls me JuJu but I love it when my mama says it.

"Well mama I think it's time for us to get back on track. I feel lost without my mothers love." I replied back truthfully

"JuJu I know I kicked you out when you were 16 but I was doing it because you had got outta hand. That doesnt mean that I forgot about you. Not a day goes by that I don't worry about you. I missed my little JuJu bean." She said hugging me again because we were in a crying fit. I didnt really think I missed my mother this much until I got to see her again.

"You want to stay for dinner??" She asked me because she knew I missed her cooking.

"Yes ma'mn" Me and mother walked into the kitchen and gossiped, laughed, and talked like the old days while we prepared dinner.

We were at the table eating dinner when I started picking at my food.

"JuJu why are you not eating??" My mother asked sounding concerned.

"I dont feel well"

"Well tell me about him??" She said knowing exactly why I wasnt eating.

"Well his names Zyir and I met him in a club a few months back. We had been getting to know each other for a while then he found out I was a stripper and broke up with me and 2 weeks ago I found out I was pregnant. I told him and he cant get over that I lied to him so here I am pregnant and alone." I said on the verge of tears.

"So you came here today because you thought I could make you feel better."

"Not exactly I just needed to come here to somebody who knows me better than I know myself and thats my mother. I'm gonna need help with a baby too."

"I was in the same place as you when I found out I was pregnant with you but the difference is that I fought off the feelings for him. I made it without him and I think I have done a great job. Don't worry about nothing JuJu you got my blood you will be alright. I'm excited I get to have a grandbaby." My mother said with a huge grin on her face. Its a great feeling knowing that I can come back to my mama for answers. Mama Knows Best!!!

This was a chapter thats gonna mean a lot to the story! I will bs updating frequently because I really wanna finish this book before school starts back so there will be lots of updates.
