'It's heartbreaking that Mrs Aniya's dead. She was a great lawyer. To be brutally murdered at the age of 34 is an unfortunate thing indeed.'
I chose my words carefully. I was probably the last one to meet her yesterday and I didn't want anyone to turn that fact against me. Because,
1. I killed her. (I snuck into her office and stabbed her.)
2. She was a nosy bitch and some others wanted to kill her, too.
That bitch deserved to die. Kenapa nak sibuk dengan kerja I?
'May her soul rest in peace,' I concluded my speech.
No applause. I didn't expect one. It was a Burial Ceremony after all.
It lasted for another 30-minutes with me constantly thinking, 'Bury her already. I've things to do!'
I looked at my wristwatch. 9.30 a.m. Time to leave.
I pressed on the engine and the car WROOOOM-ed to life carrying me to PJ Magistrate Court.
