Falling fast

-a year later-
I keep turning over and over in bed trying to get comfy but it's useless trying to go back asleep. I slowly start to raise my arms over my head stretching. I lean my arm over to grab my phone off my dresser and as usual there's Gracie's message telling me to wake up and that I'm a hoe which is our way of joking. I finally got out of bed and stood up. I walked over to my door to turn on my light switch. "Bloody hell" I say as I turn on the light "it's to fucking bright". I blink a few times trying to focus my eyes. I look at my clock that was on the wall "awe shit it's 6:30 I'm going to be late" I put on my clothes in a hurry trying to make it out the door as fast as I could. It took me a few minutes making it down the steps but I made it to the front door. I called tori hoping she could give me a ride. I finally got ahold of her and she didn't mind at all. As I jumped in the car she starts fangirling. " OMG have you heard of the new guy" I replied with a smart ass tone "yeah sure because I know everything". She turns with a disgusting face. "I was just kidding". "Okay but anyway, I heard from Jessica that there's a new guy coming to our school and he's totally hot!!!!!!". I roll my eyes because to me I don't need a guy in my life, I was perfectly fine. As she's going on about the new guy, I was to busy thinking about how my day was going to be like but I never thought it was going to be like how it did. We pull into the school parking lot. I take a deep breath and looked at the hell that awaited me. We grabbed our book bags and headed in threw the front doors. I headed down the hallway. I keep my head down so I don't make eye contact with anybody as I walk to my first class. I finally made it into my first period class. Every body started to stare. I roll my eyes and sat down in the chair that was located in the corner of the class room. The tardy bell starting ringing. Everybody rushed to get to their seats. The teacher finally walk in the class room. The room fell with silence. She walked very slowly to her desk and sat down looking at everybody eye to eye, then it happened. As I looked away from her fearful eyes, a new guy walked threw the door. We made eye contact and my heart skipped a beat. A million questions started going threw my mind like "what's his name?" and "does he have a girl friend?" But the then my questions stopped right as the teacher said "nice for you to join us Mr.Alex" "please hurry and take your seat". I look over and I felt light headed because out of all the seats in the classroom he was heading for the seat right in front of mine. "Wait why am I being like this? I don't even want a guy in my life right now" as I'm sitting there thinking to myself I didn't see him sit down but sure enough right as I snapped out of lala land, mine and his face where two inches apart. I jumped back in my seat scared for my life. "Sorry miss if I frightened you, I was just checking if you where okay" he said in a sweet light tone voice. I turned my face blushing "it's..it's....okay" I try to say back with without hesitation. He laughed a little and then turned back around. All I could do for the rest is the class is smell his body spray and wonder more about him. "Fine" I said to myself I'll talk to him as a friend after class and try to know more about him..I mean I am his classmate" I take a deep breath and exhale making sure I'm okay with it. " you can do it" I said to myself
