I stared at the sleeping troll with a growing smirk on my face, letting my gaze drift to his glasses in my hand.

As the Gemini slept, I slipped the glasses over my eyes, surprised by the new world I saw through the lenses. The sight was blue and red, and due to the mix of colors I saw a hint of purple, but it wasn't too overwhelming.

I couldn't help but to pick up my [type of phone], taking pictures with the camera. I took a few of the selfies before turning to Sollux. I looked at my phone before crawling over to him, lying down on the couch to put my face close to his. Smiling into the camera, I put a hand gently in my sleeping morail's hair (avoiding the horns), snapping a picture of the two of us.

Once I was satisfied, I sat back and located Sollux in my contacts, attaching the image to the message before sending it to him with the caption "Looks like you're missing something. I wonder what."
Moments later, Sollux's phone vibrated with the incoming text I had just sent him before I set my phone on the coffee table, giggling softly.

Feeling exhausted myself, I lay down beside the sleeping mustard blood, curling up beside him. His warmth immediately seeped into me as I closed my eyes, comforted by my morail's presence enough to lull me to sleep.

I knew I drifted asleep, because it only felt like moments later when I felt a jolt beside me, startling me, feeling as Sollux shot up. I could hear his heavy breaths and frantic words as he said my name, looking around for me.

"(Y/n)!" Sollux yelled, determination coloring his tone. I could hear the eagerness and fear in his voice as I sat up, sitting myself before the frightened troll.

"Sollux," I spoke softly, watching as his frightened bicolored eyes lay on me. "It's okay. I'm right here."

In the next instant, everything moved so fast I had to rethink what occurred before my mind rested on a single thought.

He's hugging me. He's shaking and terrified, but he's hugging me.

I wrapped my arms hesitantly around his thin form when I could comprehend what had happened.

"You...you wouldn't anthwer...you were lifeleth...blood wath everywhere..." Sollux said shakily, holding me to his chest.

I hoped he couldn't hear the way my heart pounded at our closeness. I hoped he couldn't feel the heat from my cheeks against his chest.

My body began to shake with sobs that were not my own, and I pulled away slightly to look at Sollux, watching as the yellow tinted tears fell from his eyes. God, his eyes were beautiful.

"Sollux," I spoke gently, cupping his cheek in my palm. "It's okay. I'm right here. I'm okay."

It took a handful of reassuring words to calm my morail down before the only sound that was heard were his steadying breaths. I was glad he was calming down.

I was in Sollux's arms once more as he calmed down, and I listened to his inhuman heartbeat.

I began to wander into my thoughts as we remained in the embrace. Like how he smelled like honey and spices I couldn't identify, and the way he felt. His body was warm and comfortable, and we fit together perfectly.

"(Y/n)," Sollux said softly, startling me from my dazed reverie. "I need to tell you thomething..."
