(Wow...so I haven't written a chapter to this story in a long time. I think the last time was probably around November or December.

That long without giving you something to fangirl over? I am such a terrible person... >.>

So I posted the picture of Sollux as a grub at the top as an apology. Who can resist?!

Okay, so if you read my previous update, it explains why I haven't written in so long. But it's still not an excuse for torturing you all like this!

Anyway, please enjoy this chapter. The last one was a slight cliff hanger, though you all should know what he wanted to tell you.

And I'm in an attorney's office right now trying to work something out with family, so I thought I had some time to kill. So...

And this'll be really short, but I hope you like it!

Okay, on to the story!

Homestuck is owned by none other than Andrew Hussie. And this is brought to you by the countless bottles and cans of Faygo on my dresser.)

I stared curiously at Sollux, tilting my head to the side in a confused gesture, waiting patiently for the Gemini to tell me what was so important.

My heart beat fast at the thought that maybe he would tell me how he felt. Maybe he would finally open up to me about his feelings. Maybe he would tell me what'd I'd been longing to hear. I was hoping he would tell me he was flushed for me, as the trolls would say.

"(Y/n), I..." I could see the expression of want and worry in his beautiful blue and red eyes. He was usually so confident, so I'd never seen him so flustered. I'd known him for a long time, ever since he came to Earth.

"I know, Sol. I know how you feel." I spoke softly, hoping I did understand, because he looked flustered.

"I'm fluthed for you, (y/n)." He said anyway, avoiding his beautiful eyes.

So there it was. There was the confession, spoken aloud from the one troll I had always loved. He was the one troll I would give anything up for. And now he spoke the words I had been longing to hear, and they hung between us.

"I love you too, Sollux. I always have." I said, trying not to show my excitement as I threw myself into his arms, feeling as he wrapped his arms around my frame.

I could feel his face nuzzle into my hair, exhaling contently, the air blowing wisps of my (h/l) (h/c) hair against my ears, tickling them. I didn't want to let go of him as he hugged me to his chest.

"(Y/n), do you know how long I've waited to tell you that?" He asked softly into my (h/c) locks, a small smile on his face.

I didn't reply, too happy to even speak as I relished the embrace. It was so warm and familiar, albeit I hugged Gamzee more than I hugged Sollux, and Gamzee wasn't even my moirail. He was just a close friend of mine.

Just when I thought things couldn't get any better, I heard a bang on Sollux's front door, before it slammed in.

~~~
(Oh no! We're all gonna die!
Nah, I'm just kidding. Another cliff hanger I wanted to leave. Besides, I need to go, but I hope you guys liked this chapter! I will try to make the next one longer. Heh heh.)
