Part 18

~Kilgrave's point of view~

She was trying her hardest not to shake, to stay tuff and mean, stubborn little thing huh? But as I walked closer and closer to her all that big tuff composer began to melt away, "I'm not going to hurt you" I say softly and peer down that the noticeably shorter girl, theses words making her face scrunch up a little as if remembering something painful. There was something about those eyes....she could look quite beautiful when she wanted...when not snarling absinities at me that is...I had partially backed her to a wall as we maintain eye contact the entire time, 'and why in gods name would I trust you' she tries to make it sound mean but her voice shook slightly causing me to smile a little, "because if I wanted you to do something, you would be doing it already" I point out softly and bring a hand up to move some of her hair as she looks away glaring, letting it drop with an exasperated sigh, remembering what would happen if I touched that porsline skin. 'Why me?' She mumbles dropping my gaze though I didn't look away, "short answer? You interest me, and there are very few things that can still do that" I try and be as truthful as possible with a light chuckle, "all I'm asking for as a little chat, dinner?" I offer and she snorts, 'are you really trying to ask me out on a date? Won't your little toys get jealous' she raises an eyebrow, "well I haven't had those for a while, actually" I punctuate, two years and three weeks to be exact. She huffs a little but deep down I can see she wanted to believe it, 'some ground rules' she glares firmly and I fight off the little smile that meant she said yes nodding and clearing my throat, "of course" I say trying not to smile, 'no controlling me, you keep your hands where I can see them at all times, and I swear if I find out your tricking me' she warns with a look to say I didn't want her to finish that sentance, "understood" I put my hands up in surrender and she nodes curtly, "tonight? The cafe?" I smile a little leaning against the wall. She thinks for a moment biting the corner of her lip sending me wild, 'fine, I'll be there at 7, but if your ten minutes late I'm leaving!' She snaps and I grin, "I would too!" And with a little huff she picks up her gym bag and nodes, starting to push past me before I grab her wrist and pull her close with a smile, "and thank you, for giving me a change~" I whisper close to her lips enjoying the little gasp she gives and the view of her heating up and redding cheeks, as she nodes and stays there a moment, inches from my lips,myself holding back with everything I had to capture those full lips pulling away with a tiny smirk, "see you tonight then~" I walk off as pay back smiling when she could no longer see me and snapping my fingers ordering the cattle   to return to their boring, mondain life's as I slip out of the store ...
