A/N yay chapter three so umm yeah let me know you're feelings bout this. This chapter gives a little more background on Matt to so yeah thanks for taking time to read my story.
11 Months Before
It's been four months since me and Sarah began talking, well let's just say since I began talking to her and she began listening to me. She really didn't say much. I've asked an abundance of times to hang out but all I got was, "I'm too busy", "I have to go to work" , or her favorite "I'm tired". I knew she didn't want company however I swore that I would make Sarah Taylor smile.
Nothing changed; she still never answered my texts or my calls, never really said anything to Jordan (well that's not surprising, she barely says things to me), and she still couldn't open her locker without my assistance. But one night everything changed.
My phone rang at 10:30 pm; it was not the time that surprised me it was who it was that got me worried. I answered and all I could hear was a ringing silence.
"Sarah... Sarah, are you there?" I asked with complete disbelief that it was actually her call me. A minute had passed until I heard her say something.
"I need you to talk" she mumbled.
"What, why?"
"Just please talk, I need to hear your voice, don't ask why."
"Okay" I said with a sigh.
3 hours had passed and I'm still talking. I told her about how my dad left me and my mom and my little brother when I was 10 and how every day I would look out the window to see if he would ever come back. It was a painful time for my mom she had just gave birth to my brother Michael and she was nearly in debt. On a good note I told her how me and Jordan met and that his family food fights on Friday, which I occasionally join in on.
I stopped talking to see if she was awake. "Don't stop" I heard her sorrowful voice say. "Don't stop talking, it helps me not to think and do things, it distracts me"
So with that I continue to talk. I talked till it actually hurt to talk. I needed sleep. I usually don't care but talking made me tired.
I was nearly about to fall asleep on her, yet I think she may have fallen asleep on me.
"Sarah?" I asked to see if she was actually sleeping, no answer. I was about to hang up the phone until something slipped out of my mouth, "I love you"
I can't believe that those three words came out of my mouth. I knew I felt that way but I never acknowledged the fact that those feeling were truly real. And then I heard four words that had completely turned my upside down life upright.
"I love you too."
A/N I know its short most of the chapters are going to be so yeah Xd hope you enjoyed
