Krystal's P.o.v.
"You must be Kystal Fane. I'm Domenic, your mentor." Domenic smiled. He looked at the age of 40 going to the 50's. "Aron , would you bring Krystal to her room ? 101 " Domenic said. " 101? Are you sure about that ?" I saw the shocked face of Aron. " Yes , I am. Bring the young lady to her room. Now!" Was all Domenic said before Aron grabbed my arm and pulled me along the icy yet firey hallway, to the last room. It looked different from the others. More like it was misfit. I was going to thank him and tell him that he could go now, but when turned around, he was gone. Just like that ?! Whatever. I have other things to worry about. I opened the room and couldn't believe my eyes. At the left side of the room, I saw an entire wall made out of a bookshelf. At the wall on the right side I saw the biggest king-sized bed I've ever seen. And at the center was just an empty beige wall with some paintings on it. I loved the smell of books I noticed in the room. I locked the door behind me and went towards the bookwall. Most of the books we're from literature. Some of them were about healing methods, magic and other stuff.I wanted to know what the books at the very top were, but since there wasn't a ladder or stairs near them, I couldn't look. I looked around and saw something shiny at the end of the room. And then I saw it. It was a small casket made out of wood, but covered with tiny diamonds and precious stones.I opened the caskest and noticed the key inside of it. It was made of silver and was inscribed with the name Krystal Maria Blaustein. Okay instead of the Maria and Blaustein there was my name printed. Perhaps I wasn't the owner of it, but I didn't think of that in that moment, so I just grabbed the key and put it around my neck since it was necklace-styled key.
Suddenly I heard someone knocking on the door. "Come in" I said. The door opened and Aron entered the room. "Dinner will be ready in 5 minutes. Get ready. " was all he said before he left. Is he always that moody? I left my room and went along the hall way. Just now I notice all the mirrors on the wall. They weren't that much, but there were definitely not few either. As I reached the dining room I sat down beside a girl named Allie. She was quite nice and I guess my first real friend I made since I arrived here. "So this is Damian" she pointed at the boy sitting across her. He had blond hair and blue eyes. He looked a little bit scary but I guess that was just his facial expression"and this" she pointed at the girl who sat across me," is Lucy". She had a pair of glasses on and looked friendly with her welcoming smile she gave me. I noticed her grey-black eyes and her long red hair. "Guys, this is Crystal"she introduced me to the others, "she's new so be nice." Aron was sitting at the end of the table. I knew that he was staring at me, but I didn't look back. Not even once. "Look like someone got his eyes on you huh? " Allie pulled me out of my thoughts. "What? " I asked confused. "Aron. He's been staring at you since you entered the room. He never showed interest to anyone of us until you came. " she replied. "That can't be true. Maybe he's just curious about who I am. Anyways I think I will go to bed now, I'm really tired, today was an exhausting day. " I lied so that she won't go any closer to that topic and left.
I entered my room and looked around. I didn't know what I was looking for, but I had to find it. I went to the desk on where I found the casket, and when I looked at it, it was gone. Was someone here? Well obviously. I went to the bookshelf and looked at each book I could find. I didn't know what to do, but I knew that I needed to hurry. So I lifted every book one by one. And then I found it. A tiny book looking at me. I knew it was the one I needed to lift. But then for what? Well there was only one way to find out. I hoisted the book slowly and then I saw what I was looking for. The end part of the bookshelf was moving and it builded something like an inlet.
I entered the corridor. It was dark, but I didn't mind. I took few steps foreward however, when I did, the bookshelf behind me closed. Great. As I kept moving foreward, I heard voices saying my name. Which was pretty terrifying. Then I saw shaddows moving around me. I beholded the cobwebs around me moving in the wind. Yes, wind. I didn't know where it came from, but there definitely was a wind around me. "Krystal come to us " I heard the trrible voice a lady calling me. My head started to ache. But not the normal headache you get. This was different. I only realized that I was sweating and breathing hardly now. What is happening to me? The voices around me were going louder by every step I took foreward. More and more shaddows were joining the other ones. Help. Use your powers. My inner voice was right. I had powers so that I could use them, and now would be the perfect moment. But what if I couldn't control it. Risk it. That was the last sign my inner voice gave me before I made my decision. I postulated the well known stregth I had aka. fire and diffused it all over the hallway. The shaddows cawed and clawed their talons in my skin. I felt how the scars they gave me, burned. The fire increased from time to time which made leave. The only problem now; how would I extinguish the fire ? Your stength. Use it. I unbolted my hand and touched the fire with my palms. Enthausiastic and mesmeized I watched how the whole fire turned into ice. So what now? You throw a party. How funny. I looked around and saw a luminous portal moving in circular motions at the end of the corridor. Run. I listened to my inner voice and ran straight into it.Was it a risk?
