Chapter 5; The Attac

Right now, I couldn't move. I was too shocked. Me, an ordinary girl, got all strengths including one that didn't even exist according to studies. I opened my mouth and was about to say something, as I felt how the castle was shaking. Someone or something was trying to attac us, and it wasn't good. My ear captured some voices screaming and Domenic saying that we needed to follow him, since it was too late. But as naiv and stupid as I was, I didn't listen and went straight out the door to the bailey. I heard them calling my name, but I didn't listen. As I arrived outside, I looked at the shaddows which were slythering around. Memories came up that one night. Stay strong. They were about to give it another try, and they succeded.The palace was getting weaker. Do something. Despite of the fact that I didn't know what would come after me, I concentrated and focused on every single strength I had. My hands were full of energy of every strength as I smashed those towards them. I watched how the shaddows chased the surroundings for space where they could hide, but wherever they were going, the strengths were too. And they wouldn't stop hunting them, until they're gone. I thought that it was over, as my mind was going black and my eyes heavier and heavier. I made myself ready to fall, and feel my body touch the ground, but instead, I felt two arms catching me, despite of the exhausted body and mind I had, I didn't topple down. Thankfully. But I still was too weak to stand up alone so I just lied in those warm arms which just catched me. As I looked up, I notice two grey eyes looking down at me. Those breathtaking eyes... " Are you alright? " Aron asked. I just nodded since my throat was too parched. He helped me stand up and go to the castle, as I felt how a liquid substance ran out of my eyes. I touched my cheekbone and looked at my hands. It was blood. Why did I bleed? Because you used all of your powers, silly. I saw Ally, Domenic, Damien and Lucy running towards us. "Hey are you ok?" Lucy wanted to know. I wanted to answer, but Domenic prevented me from it. "What is wrong with you!? What were you thinking by going out there alone? You could've been dead by now! Those were dark shaddows! The second most dangerous species of them!" he shouted."But I'm not. I'm fine ok. Just don't mind the blood. I'm alright, I really am. "I said weakly. I looked how Domenic wanted to say something and opened his mouth, but stopped then." Why did you go? " Damien said. "I-I don't know. All I knew was that I had to. That I was meant to do so. I couldn't stop from going outside" I answered with my mind throwing back when I ran outside. " I've read of you before. Of your species I mean. The Perils" Lucy suddenly whispered. With a confuesed look I stared at her. She cotinued " 1 000 000 years ago, an Angel and a Demon fell in love. They had a child but they kept it a secret since they were forbidden. No one knew about them. So it was called the Peril. The combination of good and bad. The only child in this world, who had the power of all strengths. I don't know what happened after, but I guess you're the 4th child.According to the number on your shoulder.But... " She previewed me eagery, waiting for my response and continued then. "According to The Book of Perils, there will be one moment in your life when you need to choose between good and bad. Two chose to be bad. In that moment it's not about what you need to pick, it's about what you want to pick. You may be scared to say the truth, but the destiny will always know what you want, despite if you say differently. "I took a deep breath. I knew what I needed to pick. Starting tomorrow, there will be someone to protect us" he said while looking at me saying his last words. "You won't need to protect us anymore.Now please go to your rooms.
