Clouds dropped across the plains creating light fog around the place. Moistening Harry's bare tan skin but he doesn't care, at all. He continues to past through bushes leaving twigs and shrubs of leaves on his worn out black jeans as he hastily made his way towards the only tent in the forest.

After he spotted the place standing in the middle of an open space, his heart starts to take its fast rhythm in exhaustion... and excitement.

A wide, dimply smile spread across his face as he walks nearer.

He leans his head at the side to peek where he saw Jane sitting on a small wooden chair with her sketchbook as she sketches an image of the bird standing on a rock; she's in a white tank top and a floor length maroon skirt. Her teeth sink into her bottom lip in concentration as she copies the bird's features and outlines.

But the rustling sound near her causes the bird to fly away and making Jane upset, she slumps her head on top of her hand in disappointment. She pursed her bottom lip and her brows furrow.

"Jane?"

His voice is deep and raspy startling her as it sends electric current through spine. She turns her head to look behind her, finding a shirtless Harry and Jane is not even surprise.

"Hello, Harry." She said in a cheery tone.

"What's that?" He points at the pad in her lap.

She shows her an unfinished drawing of the bird, Harry sits down on his heels next to her and studies the image. And the bird looks very familiar to him.

"Come on." He said all of a sudden as he stands up quickly, pulling Jane up.

"Wh – where?"

Harry led their way and stopped in front of a big, leafy tree with thick veins dangling from it. He asked her to hold in to him by wrapping her arms around his body, Jane complied shyly.

The side of her face pressed on the hard muscle of his stomach creating blushes on her cheeks. Harry effortlessly pulls both of their weight upward on a vein by using his strong arms.

They reached the top of the tree's trunk, "Go," He hushes, guiding Jane inside crown of the tree.

Jane eyes were satisfied by the sight of sunlight rays breaking through the leaves and green leaves matching the lovely view. She smiles widely in awe.

Harry told her to sit on a branch, he inhales deeply as he joins his middle and index fingers together of both of his hands then put them into his mouth. He created a long, piercing whistle making birds flew around.

Her mouth fell agape in amazement, she raises her hands on her mouth, gesture of her extreme happiness. Echoes birds' tweets, fluttering of wings and Harry's giggle are the only sounds she hears.

Few of birds, like the one she was sketching before, flew down and positioned themselves on her shoulders, on her head and on her arms likewise on Harry.

While Jane is busy trying to talk and entertain the birds on her, Harry is busy looking at her while she enjoys the moment and he feels so proud of himself. Her smile is making him smile and he would do everything to make her happy.

Khari runs inside the cabin where a delicious aroma is coming from. "Hi, Aunt Anne!" he greets loudly. "I wish you could be my mother because my mother does not cook really well like you." taking a seat on of the chairs at the table.

"But your mother is trying her best, so you should appreciate that." Anne said, glancing at him over her shoulder.

"Oh yeah. You know what Aunt Anne? I love my mother even if she burned the side of my fish." Khari said, after a minute of thinking while looking at the corner. "By the way, does Harry have come back yet?" he asked, scratching his head.

Anne shakes her head.

"Aww, don't worry Aunt Anne he'll will always come back." Khari tried to reassures Anne but the worry as a mother didn't fade away that easily.

"Or maybe he was tired of living here so he left! What an ungrateful bastard." Des stated, walking out the room as he slinging his shotgun around his body.

"Don't say something like that, please." Anne whispers but Des heard.

"Why not Anne! Blood of the tribe and blood of this family does not run through his veins. You just found him in the middle of the forest and called him yours. Did it ever cross your mind that there might be people out there looking for him? Did it ever cross your mind that he might think of searching for his own family?" his loud angry screams surrounds the place.

Des was breathing heavily after while Anne was on the kitchen floor, tears streaming down her face while her hands covering her ears. Des puff and stomped out of the cabin, shutting the door forcefully then Khari rushed at Anne as he whispers that everything Des said wasn't true and Harry will never leave her.

Harry and Jane are sitting on a huge branch with thick veins in their hands and her hand on his other hand. He bobs his head, assuring her.

Her heart is beating erratically fast on her own idea and the height of where they are sitting down to the ground is not helping because it adds more on her anxiety.

"No, Harry. I can't, I can't do this." she shakes her head while looking down. He tilts her chin up gently, making her look at him. His green eyes stare back and forth at her sapphire ones.

Then just like that, courage filled her heart as she clutches on the rough hand of Harry.

They swing on the veins until stars and the moon appear on the sky. They were swinging with little monkeys including the little rascal who she fought with.

She kept on squealing every time Harry was instructing her to jump to another vein. And when they reached the end of the clusters of trees and blackness ahead of them, Harry grasps the veins where Jane is on to.

Harry turns in circle, intertwining the upper part of their veins making them closer to each other.

Harry gazes down at her so tender and fondness is written in them, mesmerize by her beauty while moonlight casting soft glow on her. Jane looks up to him, intense of his eyes sends chills on her heart and making her feel differently good.

She looks away feeling embarrassed and insecure by his piercing stare, light shade of red coming out on her cheeks. But he didn't look away because he knows that his eyes and heart were captured by her.

And Harry has felt something he never felt before, and he is okay with it.
