I am a big fan of Downton Abbey, and after series 6 ended I started to wonder about what might happen next, what would happen in, say, 30 years? And when I started thinking, that's when this story entered my head.
I am really, really, really sorry if this book ruins your plans for what happens after Downton Abbey finished in 1926, but it is what I thought would be a good idea.
I will also apologise now for my writing style, (it most certainly could be better!) but I hope I get my idea across to you. The grammar is also, probably, atrocious, but please don't let that put you off.
