Isabella

Where was Dimitrius going? What did that Theresa girl do now? I had focused all my attention on their team and totally forgot about my own.

"Isabella!" Emily yells at me. I snap my attention back to my team and try to use my power, but the light reflecting off the metal cuffs catches my eye and my head starts to hurt. I fall to the ground, holing my head.

"Izzy, take a break," Mel tells me. "Em and I can handle the rest of the ninjas."

"But you can't use your power," I say. "I'm fine, really..."

"She never said we couldn't fight," Emily smirk. She and Mel use the leg with the cuff and start kicking the ninjas. They also start punching as well.

"Back up," I order. I focus on my power and make a huge ball of light and throw it at the ninjas. The entire area explodes.

"Cool!" Emily smiles happily and she drags Mel into the desert where she starts screaming. I force myself to make another energy ball and run up to where they were.

"I'm not walking here!" Em jumps on Mel's back. I sigh.

"It's hot Em!" Mel groans and struggles to carry her.

"What? Am I heavy?" Emily raises an eyebrow.

"No... but didn't you ever think that if our ankles are connected, it would be hard to carry you?" Mel glares at her.

"Hmm... you can manage," Emily smiles.

"Well, if you haven't noticed, we're in last place now," Mel starts walking.

"Well then..." I start to talk, but a bunch of ninjas show up here too. I take the energy ball and throw it at them, but it goes the other way and hits Wisteria on the other side of the room. Wisteria stands up and throws a dark energy ball back, making a huge dent in the wall.

"Emily," Eclaire says. "Your team is disqualified. Nevermore, your team is disqualified. Please exit the simulation."

"What! But it was their fault! We didn't do anything!" Wisteria yells.

"So you're telling me that your team didn't make that dent in the wall," I glare at her.

"No one was talking to you, Mrs. Shwiney," Wisteria shouts back, before quickly covering her mouth.

"Shwiney?" Jet looks at her.

Cole

I watched as Isabella, Mel, Wisteria, Nevermore, Jet, and Emily left the simulation and sat on the side lines. It didn't really matter to me. Less competition.

"Hey, Cole," Alexander looks at me.

"What do you want now?" I sigh.

"Some help would be nice," Olivander rolls his eyes. "Why don't you focus?"

I glare at him and put down my newspaper so he knows that he has my full attention.

"Hurricane," I sigh and sit on the floor. This simulation is so boring. All the ninjas are blown away with ease and smacked into a wall.

"Stop making dents in the wall!" Eclaire yells through the megaphone. I groan and keep watching the twins. Alexander focused on walking through the hot desert, but Olivander was focused on something else. I looked over and say Gaea battling with more ninjas. There was a ninja behind her, but Simon was looking somewhere else and Blade wasn't going to say anything. Olivander flicks his finger and the ninja trips and falls behind her. I pick up my newspaper with my wind and smack his head with it.

"What was that for?" Olivander yells at me.

"You're telling me to be focused and you're totally doing something else!" I yell back.

"Wow, this is the first time I've seen you yell at someone," Alexander smirks. I roll my eyes and pick up my newspaper.

"I hope you die in the rainforest," I mumble.

"I heard that. Clearly in my head," Olivander says.

"I didn't say anything to you," I raise an eyebrow.

"Telepathy," Alexander sighs. "You're telepathy."

Gaea

"Go fasterlion, you're slowing us down," Blade yells at me.

"If you don't shut up, I won't be able to finish!" I yell back at him.

"Sheesh, this is why I didn't want any girls on my team," Blade growls.

"Well I'm sorry you couldn't get your way hothead," I mumble.

"Hurry up!" Blade yells at me. You know what... that's it.

"SHUT UP ALREADY!" I use my earth and break the ankle cuffs. Then I send Blade flying into a wall.

"We have a code red. I need security," Eclaire speaks into her walkie-talkie.

"Heh, is that the best you can do?" Blade comes running back at me and blast a whole bunch of fire. His hair turned to fire and his eyes were seriously red. I ignore him and start making huge balls of earth and fling them at him. He breaks most of them and before he can unleash a counterattack, I change into a lioness and tackle Blade to the ground before changing back into a girl. We rolled down the snowy mountain, punching and slapping each other.

Security came and separated us.

"Hey! We won!" Helena and Rosaline come out of the ground at the end of the simulation. When they noticed what was going on the immediately rushed over. Rosaline flung water at Blade, making the fire go out.

"You all are a bunch of brats. And brats must be separated," Eclaire stands up and groans. "Look at this place! Ya'll destroyed another simulation."

"What do you want us to do with all of them," the security guard that held me asks.

"Confinement. All of them," Éclaire put her sunglasses back on, grabs her lemonade, and walks out the room. Everyone is grabbed by a security guard and taken down the hall. There was a huge black door and when they opened it, there were a bunch of cells and they were labeled. Everyone had their own cell.

"See you in two weeks," the security leaves and the door is shut firmly behind them.

"Look at what you did!" Blade yells at me.

"So this is my fault?! If you hadn't started yelling at me for saving your butt, none of this would've happened!" I yell back.

"Shut the fuck up! You're giving me a fucking headache!" Cole shouts at us.

"Well then, we just have to sit here and wait," Nevermore lays down in her cage.

"We aren't going anywhere. Dimitrius, Lu, and Theresa are going to be in testing for a week. When they get out, they'll be alone in their separate dorms for another week until we get out. So until then, we just sit here and get some peace and quiet," Helena sighs.

"You know what, I think Theresa and Dimitrius are on to something," Rosaline points out.

"How so?" Emily puts her head in her hands.

"I heard them talking one day and they were talking about dreams and people being the alternates of us or something.

"Why don't we all just go to sleep? It's dark anyway," Simon says. As if on que, an announcement saying "lights out" played and the whole room became dark and we couldn't see anything.
