Dimitri’s POV

“March! Let’s go! You can talk to your boyfriend later!” Aly yelled from the plane’s doors. I watched as March continued to talk with the boy before he gave her something and left. Frowning, I watched him get into a black car and drive off.

“Sheesh Aly, he’s not my boyfriend,” March blushed.

“Sure… let’s fly this plane.”

March and Aly went to the cockpit and the plane’s engines roared to life. Leaning back into my seat, I looked out the window again as we took off. The park in London got smaller and smaller, and for once I was reluctant to leave. That was the only peaceful place we’ve gone to aside from the fact of being trapped inside indestructive orbs of soap we called bubbles.

“Hey, Russian,” Alicia plopped down beside and I scoffed. For once, I wanted to be trapped in my thoughts alone.

“What do you want?”

She scrunched up her nose. “Eso chico es mal. Anyways, Nada finally went to sleep so I just wanted to leave him be.”

“Is he even okay?”

“His shock is still there..” She frowned. “I’m sure he’ll be okay. I mean, I’m fine because I know he wasn’t in his right mind.”

I noticed her cheek was still swelled up and bloody. “You should really clean that up.”

Alicia nodded and got up, walking to the bathroom. Nadie and Zion were in the back corner, talking to each other in soft voice. I assumed they were talking about Nada. Closing my eyes, I drifted to sleep.

“Dimitri…”

My eyes fluttered open and I groaned, reaching up to rub my eyes, but I couldn’t feel my arms. I jerk wide awake and notice I can’t feel any part of my body.

“Dimitri…”

The voice repeats over and over and I look around, trying to see out of the corner of my eyes. Everything was dark around me and for a moment I wondered if my eyes were actually open or not.

A bright light shined and I squinted until I could make out the figure of a body. By the curves, I could tell it was female. The person finally showed their face and I recognized her as Lina.

“It’s been a while, Dimitri.”

“Are you with Nature?”

Lina simply laughed and poked my cheek. Suddenly, I felt my body again and I swatted her hand away. “No.”

“Then what do you want? Let me wake up.”

“In your dreams was the only way I could contact you without Nature knowing. You need to destroy her quickly. Destroy all of us and take our places. There’s only a week and a half now.”

Before I could say anything, Lina disappeared and I woke up to see Aly’s face in front of mine. My face turned bright red and she laughed.

“You were pretty into whatever dream you were having. We’re at Beijing now and they’re about to get on board.”

I watched as Aly walked outside with March. Nadie and Zion showed no signs of getting up, paying more attention to Alicia and Nada especially. Sighing, I got up and walked off the plane behind Aly and March.

The triplets, Sparta, Titan, and Sam had shown up like they had said. Sam ran over to me and hugged me tightly. I swear, this was the most emotion I’d ever seen my step-sister show to me. Not really knowing how I should hold her, I hugged her back awkwardly.

“I’m glad you’re all okay,” Aly smiled. “You did well for your first attack..”

The group nodded and one by one gave hugs. Kiran pulled Aly from us and talked to her for a few moments before leading Kira into the plane. Titan followed behind them as March urged Sparta to get in the plane.

Aly then walked over to Keera, who seemed to be in a daze. My demeanor changed and I pulled Sam away from me for a moment.

“What happened in there? Why is Keera the only one acting like that?”

Sam frowned and took my hand, leading me onto the plane. “We were all separated in India. I have no idea what happened with everyone, but no one wants to talk and I wouldn’t blame them for not wanting to remember the incidents. But Keera… I’m guessing, since she was the youngest, they did something worse to her…”

We heard a noise and we looked out the window to see Keera drop to her knees and start bawling her eyes out, crying. “I can’t! I can’t do this anymore! I want to go home!” Despite her fifteen year old age, she sounded like she was five. Kira and Kiran tried to run off the bus to comfort her but Titan and Sparta held them back.

Aly tried calming her down and we all looked away, not wanting to see Keera in this state. March went back to the cockpit, taking Kira and Kiran with her. Not long after, the engine started again and Aly got onto the plane with Keera close to her. When Sparta went to walk over to them, Aly shook her head and motioned that no one interfere.

“Where are we going now?” Sam looked at me.

“Hopefully to find the one pair or the other.”
