Hello! Again, this chapter may seem short... I'm not sure. I've honestly just no had time to write, I wish I could. I also may go back and give the Chapters names... I'm not sure. Ah, well. Enjoy!

Melody's P.O.V

I sat at the breakfast table. Some seats were empty, meaning some kids had already left. I looked over at Adrienne, feeling rather glad I didn't have to see her again. She wasn't a bully, as such, she was just rather rude and loud. Not the fun type of loud like Vanellope, the annoying type of loud.
"So... Anyone getting adopted today?" A boy named Jake asked us, taking a spoonful of cereal and slowly placing it into his mouth.
"Me." I say, through a full mouth.
"By who?"
"Dan and Phil."
A few people spit out their cereal, looking at me with wide eyes.
"Your kidding, right?"
"No..."
"Wow! That's so co-" Suddenly, Jake was cut off by a cheerful voice, echoing through the building.
"Melody!!"
That was Miss. Winston, a small, elderly lady who we all adored. I leapt from my seat and into the hallway, a goofy grin spread across my face. Dan and Phil were waiting for me.

After Melody had said a few, rather tearful goodbyes to her friends and caretakers, we set off back to our house. Melody had a small smile on her face, the strong, cold winters wind blowing in her now painfully red face, and making her small suitcase hard to trundle across the awkwardly paved road. I slowed down slightly to walk next to her, Phil following beside me. "Hey, Melody... Where's your jacket?" I asked her calmly, although she still flinched slightly as she looked up into my amber-brown eyes.
"I-I... D-don't ha-ha-have one..." Melody stuttered, the harsh London weather making her teeth chatter together.
I shook my head slightly, taking off my own jacket and slowly putting it on Melody. "There you go, have mine. I'll be fine for now." I said blithely.
It was a funny sight. The fluffy, dirty brown coat was much to big for the short girl. She looked down at her legs, which were now half-smothered in my monstrous garment. She giggled slightly "Thank you very much... I think it's going to take a bit longer than a walk to your house for-for me to grow into it, though." The red-haired girl exclaimed, smiling up at me and Phil again. We all exchanged a laugh, continuing on our way.

Once we got the front door of the YouTuber's apartment, I shrugged Dan's coat off and handed it too him. He thanked me, looking over at Phil who was fumbling with the keys.
"Uhm... Just a second!" Phil chuckled, finally managing to hold the keys straight. He inserted them into the shiny silver lock and twisted them slowly, as if he was trying to add suspense to the moment.
As the door opened, I let out a huge gasp. Though it was only the hallway, it was Dan and Phil's hallway. And that's when it really hit me. I was going to be living with Dan and Phil, and I never wanted to go back.
