What is there to look forward to Monday mornings?! I mean really. What. Is. There.
Every year, it gets harder and harder to get up! Eventually, I take a shower, refresh myself and head downstairs for breakfast. As I enter the kitchen, I could make out the long body of my brother, sitting down across the white kitchen counter, hunching over his breakfast. His shirt making out the shape of his defined muscles.
"Hey. Fredster!" He shook out of surprise, as I made my way across the other side of the counter.
"Gosh! Connie you didn't need to do that," he put his hand on his heart, hoping it will calm down.
"What?" I asked innocently.
"Don't act like it was unintentional. Anyways, I'm going to head to school in 5 minutes, so you better be ready." And went to put his cereal in the sink.
You might be wondering, 'where is your parents?' Well, they are divorced and have been since I was 5 years old. It has not bothered me that much, until my dad had been seeing someone.
As I finished my breakfast, I headed to the front porch while closing the door behind me, when I noticed Freddie was waiting for me in the car already starting the engine. Making my way into the car, I had forgotten to take my bag. I quickly got out of the Ford Focus and grabbed my bag lying by the couch in the living room. Immediately, Freddie had started moving the car backwards from our drive way and made our way to school.

"Oi oi. Look who it is, Miss B." Ethan greeted.
Ethan is one of my bestfriends since I started high school and so is My other friend Blake. We all met through our form class. First me and Ethan had met, but Blake had not come to Dasington High School. After a few months, Blake had joined our school and fortunately had been in our form class. All the girls in Dasington fell for him, although he was not interested. It still happens, but I wasn't like all the girls in my school. Blake was hot, it was undeniable. However, I didn't have feelings for him. Maybe, that's one of the reason why our friendship exists. Ethan himself was not bad looking, he was the looker himself, even alongside with Blake. They both made me look the ugly duckling, although they are boys. Do I have girl friends? Um... I do have a few, but they are only class mates. You know the ones that you only talk to them during class.
"Your looking it at her." I framed my hands under my chin making me look like the angelic gal and giving Ethan the biggest hug.
We split apart, but held hands. We are NOT dating, but this has been our thing since we were in seventh grade.
"Where's Blakey?" I asked.
"He said he might be a bit late because he has to take care of Alisa. Their parents were arguing again." Ethan replied with a sympathetic look.
Blake's parents fought and when they fought it would make Alisa, Blake's younger sister, cry. She would lock herself in her room and cry till she slept and sometimes she would cut herself. She thinks that she was the cause of her parents' argument and makes herself responsible for it. Sometimes their fight, would make Blake depressed. But me and Ethan are always here for him and we would distract him in any way possible. Once when his parents had a severe argument last Spring, me and Ethan bought a four plane tickets to France. It was actually a success, not only was Blake ecstatic and overwhelmed, but also Alisa felt the same.
We were walking towards our form class, fortunately Blake had come and thankfully not depressed. We had received new time tables for our classes this year, and it was not that bad. I had History, English, Maths, Science and French today.
I made it through History, English and Maths, but their was Science before lunch. Just one more subject to lunch...
I walked through my new Science class and my teacher had told all of us to stand at the back of class so she can assemble our seating plan.
She had appointed people their seats...
"Connie?" She asked me hesitantly, while staring at the piece of paper with our pictures and names underneath.
"Yep. That's me."
"Can you sit here," she pointed to the desk next her. "And Oscar?..." My body felt paralysed, as he nodded. "...can you sit beside her." His presence had not become aware to me, that he was in this class. During, elementary school I had the biggest crush, well...if you had to ask me that time, it would be love. I always found myself ready to confess my affection towards him, but was so nervous when I saw him. He had never acknowledge me and their is no point to acknowledge him. It's only fair.
"Hey." He greeted. I just ignored him, the same way he would of done to me, if I had greeted him in fifth grade.
"Okaaayyy..." He said awkwardly. "I'm Oscar." I still didn't reply. I knew it. He didn't recognise me.
For the rest of lesson, he had tried to make small talk, but I had been blocking it off.
