It's night time and the moons at its highest point.
I'm walking in the woods,
Leaves crunching and breaking under my feet,
I’m all alone.
The wind whistles past me.
I feel the gaze of the moon above me,
Showering me with light,
I’m all alone.
Stars above are twinkling in the night.
They try to guide me,
But without you, I can’t see what’s in front of me,
I’m all alone.
I’m afraid to walk forward,
Afraid to move on,
Afraid to not have you in my life,
I’m all alone.
The moon is my only friend.
And just for a little while,
Because the sun soon comes out,
I’m all alone.
I look back up at the sky
The moon is still watching over me,
Something you never did,
I’m all alone.
