Hogwarts Life as Ash Potter (A Harry Potter/George Weasley/Remus Lupin FF)

Chapter 5 - They're dead.

Again a few people looked at me with concern but I shrugged it off. Today we have Potions and I guess it's going to be harsh because of what I did yesterday. I walked towards Potions together with the rest but didn't talk much as I had an enormous headache. As we passed a mirror I realized I did really look bad. I was extremely pale and my eyes were red. I had a constant frown which I couldn't get off, which was strange. My hair lost its volume and hung straight down my head. And to end up my nose was red as if I had cried. Oops.

We entered Potions and I sat next to Sophie and George and Fred and Lee were in front of us. We had to make a too difficult Potion which looked really bad. We did it in a three some. Instead of the green it should be it was purple. But the smart me as I am thought of Charms of yesterday and changed our potion to green with Colovaria. When we handed ours in Snape looked surprised because it smelled really bad but we had the best color of all the other potion. Mission accomplished!

We then went of to History of Magic and immediately when I touched the chair I fell asleep. Exactly like that. Sophie woke me up and I realized we had lunch, but not even food made me feel better. I sat down at our table and it was almost obvious people put waffles on our table for me. But I was still not hungry so I just sat there looking at everyone's happy faces. What if I don't have parents? What if they're dead? Those two thoughts went through my head all the time. When lunch was over I didn't touch a thing.

I pulled myself up, told myself to get through this day. Next we had Transfiguration. McGonagall asked me to show my wolf thing so I did it fast. Changed, waited a second and changed. With that I went back to my seat to sit next to Sophie. I really needed to think this through. I actually did. When the lesson ended I wanted to leave but of course McGonagall asked me to stay a little longer. I told her I was just tired and with that I left without listening to her reaction. She wouldn't believe me anyways. 

Next we had Defence Against the Dark Arts and I just listened an made notes. This time I almost ran out of the classroom, not wanting to face Lupin. It worked, but I was pretty sure Lupin was actually eager to talk to me and so was George. Everyone was, but I kind of promised George to talk to him. But I didn't want to so I went to the kitchen. I was not at all hungry but I sat in the passage which would lead me to the kitchens. Not a single elf came by so I guess they have another way to get out.

An few hours later I was too bored to sit there anymore so I decided to go to the common room. When I entered George rushed towards me. 'No one could find you! Teachers are also searching you! Where were you? I was so concerned!' I groaned. Did he really went to the teachers? 'You actually went to Dumbledore?' He nodded. 'Of course I did. You were no where to be found. Not even on the grounds!' I groaned again and he sighed. 'Lets just go to Dumbledore and tell him you're alright. We were all so concerned, I mean you looked bad-' 'Why thank you?' I said with a frown.

He just realized what he had said and said 'No, Ashley, I didn't mean it like that, it's just-' 'Leave it.' I told him. I didn't want to go to Dumbledore. 'Go tell him I'm alright.' I told him, while sitting down on a couch. 'You have to go with me.' I slowly shook my head. 'Don't feel like it.' The next second I'm in George's arms; bridal style. I groan. 'Put. Me. Down.' He smiled a little. 'Don't feel like it.' With that he stepped out of the common room and walked to Dumbledore's office. 'Waffle with hot chocolate.' George said. WAIT WHAT?I That's my favorite food! Assholes.

He put me down on the stairs and said 'Come on, walk the stairs.' I couldn't go nowhere and I know it. So I slowly walk up the stairs and now we're standing in front of a door. 'I'm so concerned! Who knows what happened! We need to do something!' I heard Lupin say. 'Wait till tomorrow morning, Remus. She could just be standing here in front of my door right now.' Lupin groaned. 'Of course she isn't. I'm leaving. Now. Bye Albus.' And Dumbledore said. 'Lots of luck Remus.'
