I gave the officer a look of disbelieve as he finished his sentence.
     "What?"
     "Mrs. Addams I have no time for games, did you try to murder Mr. Max?"
     "First of all sir he's not and will never be my... Friend..." This last word was one I chocked out. How could anyone believe we were friends? I could however see the murder part.
     "No..."
     "Well he said you tried to kill him using this rope..." The evidence the man showed me halted my thoughts into a frozen oblivion. It was the very same rope around my husband when Max claimed he was dead!
     He must have used it to prove there was blood involved! Then suddenly, the thoughts of Gomez's fake death flooded through my mind and tears started to form. Without any dismissal I ran out of the dark room... Still bawling I pushed past the guards and to the prison cell.
     This is where I ordered someone to give me keys and I lead myself inside. Gomez had been asleep until I slammed the door. He could tell easily I was crying and rushed to me...
     "Cara Mia! What is it Tish? What happened did he hurt you?"
     "Gomez I have to tell you something... " I stated with an afraid expression.
     "I was going to have a baby.... But I tried to do something back when I thought you were dead and..."
     "What did you do darling?"
     "I let him have her...."
