Ch.16 The Abandon Crystal Island

  The next day, Grant used his time to explore but as he walk down the streets people were afraid of him so they would run away from him. He wasn't upset he was pleased that people notice him. As for the gang, they decide to have a meeting again about how to save Rebecca and Ben. They meet at the park by the fountain. Ellen, Vic, Gen and Jeffery were there waiting. A while later, Zack and Desirey join them after a few minutes they saw Paul and Kelly pulling up. They had a big smile on their faces and so Vic ask them why they were smiling huge. Paul told them that they went to see Nathanael last night and this morning.

"Great! How is he?" Vic ask.

"He's doing fine. I'm glad you guys decide to put him with Mary and Robert." Kelly reply.

"No problem but it was Rebecca's idea to leave him with them." Gen told her. When they were talking they saw Sebastian walking toward them. He seem out of place, a face that was miserable. But he would act like nothing happen.

"Sebastian!" Paul called for him. Sebastian look up and saw everyone waiting for him.

"I'm sorry I took a bit long..."

"It's okay. We understand." Desirey said to him. It was silent for a moment.

"So..." Zack said, "Have you guys came up with a plan yet?"

"None." Kelly said.

"No, nothing." Vic said.

"Sorry." Jeffery and Gen apologize.

"Well I have an idea but I don't know if we should do it." Sebastian said. Everyone ask him what the plan was, "I was thinking...What if we ask Grant Jezebel's plans?"

"Asking him? I don't know about that. He might not tell us." Ellen said.

"And if he did, how will we know if he's telling the truth?" Zack said as he sat on the bench. 

"I trust him..." Sebastian said, "It wouldn't hurt to ask him."  Everyone agree to that so they headed to Athena's and talk with Grant.
As they enter the house, a man was sitting on the couch reading the newspaper. Everyone thought it was a stranger trying to seduce Athena for Jezebel. So without thinking everyone began a commotion about the man. Athena came running from back yard and told everyone to calm down. Everyone was pointing at the man on the couch.

"Have you guys' gone crazy or something?! It the King!" Athena explain. Everyone was obscure with what Athena was saying.

"You don't recognize me? Wow. What a bath and shower can do for you." The King said.

"The King?" Sebastian question it. He then walk up to the man and stare at him.

"Sebastian? Son, it's not polite to stare at people." The king said. 

"It's the King alright..." Sebastian said in an awkward tone. Everyone then ask for forgiveness from the king.

"No it's alright. Athena you should feel proud." The King said.

"Really Arthur?" she said.

"Of course. These young people are so protective of you. That's what guardians are for." The King said. He continue his reading to the newspaper as if nothing has happen.

"Okay...Athena!" Paul called for her. She was heading back outside but stop at the door. "Yes" she said.

"Where's Edgar? I mean Grant!" Paul ask her.

"Grant is with me out here. Come." She said as she head out the door. They follow her outside and sure enough Grant was there planting flowers. Everyone was shock to see him out here.
