Young Justice Mystery

Chapter 5

Robin's POV
As the team left it was sad that I didn't get to go with them. Especially since it was the new girl's mission!
"BatCave. Now!" Demanded Batman.
"Uh ok what is going on this time? Joker? Bane-" I was cut off because Batman scooped me up like a football and carried me to the Zeta Tubes. I tried squirming out of Batman's grip, but the more I did the tight he got there was no way he would let me go. So I gave in.
'Batman A01'
'Robin B01' the Zeta Tubes announced.
"So what are we here for?" I asked
"To figure out who Katie is." He replied
"Who is Katie?" I asked.
"The new girl. Mystery." He said.
"Yeah. Ok." I said. I plopped down next to Batman in my chair in front of the BatComputer. A small holographic computer appeared for me. I like to call it The RobComputer! Just because everything else in the BatCave has Bat in it. Batman, BatComputer, Bat mobile, etc. After a moment of silence I finally spoked up.
"So what makes this girl so special? I mean yes she is joining the team, but she told you her name and all." I asked.
"There is something about her." He replied quickly.
"Oh is it because she is magic?" I asked
"No and shut up I am working." He said in my face. So with those words that is exactly what I did I shut up.
"Please go to the mansion and get Alfred and I would like you to stay over there. I work alone." He finally said with his hand over his face. Over the years I've leaned to do what exactly what Batman says. So I went up to the mansion and got Alfred to go meet Batman.
"Right away Master Grayson." Alfred said and walked off to the entrance of a the Cave. I decided that I had nothing else to do and as a 13 year old I went to play video games. This can sometimes be a rare occasion so I took thoughtfully. You must be thinking why didn't I go back to the team. Well Bats probably needed me soon.
Time past
After a few rounds as being me,Batman,Superman,and Martian Man Hunter on a Good vs Evil game Alfred came into me room and told me Batman needed me.
"Master Dick Master Bruce needs you in the BatCave." He said. I sometimes feel bad for him. And it really gets to me when he calls me Master it is just well sad. So I walked to the piano that let you in the BatCave I played the little tune and went in the BatCave.
"Dick I think I know who she is." He said.
"Who?" I said back.
"Dick didn't you say you had a sister?" He asked.
"Um yeah, but she died that night. The night my parents died." I said. Why was he saying this he knows she is dead!
"Dick I don't think she did." He said back.
"She was shot when we ran out the tent she got pushed by the crowd and behind the tent I heard the gun shots she is dead! Please let's stop talking about this!" I yelled with a sob. Tears started rolling down my checks. "I saw the body. They covered it with white. They wouldn't let me see her they would say it was to-" I couldn't finish.
"Dick that might've not been her. We will go back to the other Cave and bring her here." He said with his hand on my shoulder. He should know I don't like talking about this! She was my best friend, she was my sister and I lost her. Just like my parents I lost her. If only I stayed with her if only if I held her hand so she wouldn't get pushed away. If only. I looked up I just had to ask this question.
"How. I mean what gave you the feeling it could be her. Other then the name?" I asked look at him in his eyes.
"Because." He bent down to one knee and put a hand on my shoulder and said. "She has the same deep blue sea eyes like you." He said in reassuring smile.
A/W End of this chapter the next one will be back in Mystery's view and only saying the team just got back from the mission. (Sorry for not doing the battle scenes but you know as that was going on this was going on ;3. But if you really want to know about that battle scene just tell me and I might put it in as an extra!)
