Chapter 2

2 days later.
"She awakens." Said Superboy.
"Good." Said a very dark voice.
"Where! Where am I!?!" The girl screamed as she try's to get out of the bed.
"Frimi-un-emzei!" She said when then hand cuffs on the bed let her go. She got up and went running looking for an escape.
"Hey! Get back here!" Demanded Batman.
"I must get out of here. I must keep them safe! He will come! He will come!" She kept saying to her self in a low wispier.
"Woah!" Robin says as the girl runs past him. "Kid spew have a runner can you get her!?!" Robin calls through the com in his ear.
"On my way." Said Kid Flash.
Once he caught up with her and was able to get her back in the bed.
"Ok now keep her mouth shut so she can't escape." Batman said cold and darkly.
"Ok we are just going to ask you a few questions. Now we will uncover your mouth if you will just answer my questions." Batman said. As he takes the tape off her mouth.
"I-I I can't he will come! I have to get out of here!" She shouted.
"Who! Who will come!?!" Yelled Batman.
"I must leave I appreciate the help but I must leave!" She said while trying to pull the cuffs out.
"Tell me who is coming. We will protect you, but first you have to help us first." He said in a calm voice but also in her face.
"Ok I will help you." She said looking off to the side.
"Alright let's start off. Who exactly are you? The team tells me your name is Mystery but I have a suspicion it is not your real name." He said coldly.
"I do have a real name but I rather not tell it kinda like you Bruce-" She was cut off.
"How do you know my name!?! And your just lucky there was no one in here to hear that!" He barked.
"Oh I am sorry, but you see I am magic and I know a lot. Like Robin is Dick-" she was cut off again.
"Shh!" He said in my face.
"Sorry." She replied back.
"Ok so you know mine so why don't you tell me your's ."
"Fine but you promise not to tell anyone?"
"Promise."
"The name is Katie..." She mumbled, but loud enough to make out the word.
"And your last name."
"I don't have a last name. Just like I don't have a family. I am just a street kid."
"Why don't you go somewhere?"
"I don't want to risk anyone getting hurt."
He puts his hand on her shoulder. "We will find you some where." He said.
"Ok now how old are you?"
"13."
"Same as Dick I see."
"I guess."
"One last question what are your powers?"
"I am magic. Just because I am magic I can't solve all your problems! Magic never solves problems." She mumbled a little at the end.
"It's ok." He replied back.
"Now. Can you tell me who is after you?" He asked.
"It is Vandal Savage ." She said while looking at Batman in his eyes.
"Vandal Savage!?! He is always going after everyone." He said back in a shocking voice.
"Yeah I guess."
"Ok I am going to release you, and get you to know the team. Promise me you won't run?"
"Ok I guess. And I promise."As he was about to release her he said, "We will protect you."
She nodded. As she rubbed her wrist because the cuffs made some marks on them. Then she was taken to the team They where all in then kitchen eating cookies that Meghan had made.
"Don't eat to much at once Wally." Laughed Meagan as Wally shoved more cookies in to his mouth.
"Thank you Meghan. For the cookies." Said Aqualad. Meghan blushed.
Then they all went quiet as Batman walked over to them.
"Team I would like to introduce your new team mate Mystery." He said.
"New team mate, but didn't she just tried to rob Robin the other day!?!" Exclaimed Wally. As Wally said that Robin stepped beside him like he was with him. Then looked up a Batman.
"Also does she have any fighting skills?" Asked Robin.
"I've lived on my own Robin for many years, and over the years I have befriend many animals that have taught me meany things. Also I have magic so I know educational things like reading, writing, math etc." Mystery said out load boldly without a stutter.
"But that doesn't explain why you where stilling his stuff." Wally said pointing at Robin.
"That's enough." Demanded Batman. "She will go into training with me to see what she can do."
The cave went quiet again.
"I've always wanted a sister." Exclaimed Meghan. "I mean I have many back on Mars but it's not the same trust me." She added on.
Mystery laughed a bit. When she turned around thinking Batman would be there to ask a few more questions, but he was gone.
"Hey where di-" Mystery got cut off.
"He always does that." Said Robin in a little disgusted voice.
"Hey we should give you a tour of the cave!" Shouted Meghan happily. "Me or Superboy can be tour guides we basically live here." She add on while everyone turned to look at Superboy.
*sigh* "What don't look at me! Meghan you do it." He said.
'Team report to me at once! I have a mission for you.' Batman said over the intercoms. At that moment they all started running Mystery guessed to the mission room thing, and ran with them. She come to find out she was faster then most. Well except of Wally of corse.
"Heh" She chuckled a little. "Thank you! To all those bunnies and squirrels." Although no one really heard her.
