"Sensei, chill, he already left. I doubt it'll be for long though." You sweat-dropped as you smiled at him, sympathetically patting his back. He huffed in return, crossing his arms as he turns away. You grinned at his peculiar action, making the boiled egg glare at you. You just couldn't help it, he was being cute. Yes, he looks cute to you. What? Genos does, too.
"What?" He asked, a vein popped on his head.
"Nothing, I'm just wondering..." You slouched, then looked up at the ceiling. "You say you felt your emotions fade bit by bit, yet you're showing quite a reaction here." You said before locking eyes with him and raising your brow, sending him a teasing smirk as you shut your eyes.
"So, it isn't too late to believe in yourself. You'll get your emotions back someday, and I'll make sure you will!" You pummeled your thumb on your chest, tilting your head as you smile more.
"See this as me repaying you, because you deserve to be happy." You smiled at him, making him stare at you wide-eyed. He felt his chest tighten, but hid it behind his blank facade. He didn't know what he was feeling right now. Was it frustration? Sadness, perhaps? He scrambled his emotions deep inside, yet he couldn't figure it out.
But why is it that, he felt like these were the words that he wanted to hear for so long?
He didn't know what he felt as of the moment. But unknowingly, he felt the weight on his shoulders slowly fade, and the throbbing of his heart cease. As if he was, relieved.
".... Sure, thanks, (Name)." His lips slightly curved at your proclamation. He dismissed the mixed feelings in the pit of his stomach, savoring the moment you gave him. He never felt so relieved in his life, and he actually felt positive.
You only smiled at him, feeling happy. But you knew this happiness you felt will fade soon. You never knew why, but that's just how it is with you. Because of this trait you had, you never lived your life to the fullest.
You turn your back around, startled by the sudden knocking of the door. This was the time, that you finally dropped your smiling facade. Everytime you cheered someone up, or made them smile, you always felt good about yourself.
Yet, after the wonderful moments you made someone's day, you always felt empty afterwards.
So, so empty.
'... Or it's just my imagination.. No, I was definetely happy for him!'
'Right..?'
The whole time you dazed off, you never knew of Saitama's worried glance on your back, feeling like something's off about you right now.
You shook off the negative thoughts away, not wanting to dig deep with the topic. It's in the middle of the day, you wanted to save up the malice for later, maybe when you're about to sleep. It's not really a good idea, but it is better than the thought bombarding you first thing in the afternoon.
The knocking continued, and you felt yourself jump. You were taking too long with your feelings, and you really wanted to flush off the specific thoughts and be positive.
'I'm not alone.... I have Saitama, no need to worry...' You assured yourself, before gulping your troubles away and standing up. You were about to reach out for the door, but Saitama raced you to it, making you sit down again.
Genos sat again across Saitama, sitting formally as you stared at the two. It was like you were watching some anime, and you felt yourself watching them intently.
"Sensei, here's what I wanted to say in short!" He shouted, determination seeping out of his voice. You looked at him in a different light, your mind going deep as you start to think.
