It has been a week since you started to train your body on your own, struggling to wake up at 6 in the morning, only to come home in the afternoon. The whole week, you always came home all groggy and tired. In most cases, you would have to call Saitama on your phone to force him to come and get you, and you would either be lying on the bench outside, or collapsed under some random tree.
He didn't mind fetching you, for he was your mentor, as of the moment. All he did was let you in on his rigorious training regimen, and you had to do all the work.
But he couldn't help but get excited at the thought of sparring with you once you have properly controlled your strength.
He felt excitement swell on the pit of his mind, although he didn't show it. He was currently watering the cactus on his terrace, since he had nothing to do. You were out as of the moment, making him bored out of his mind.
He stared at the cactus while crouching in front of it, continuously showering it with his watering can as his train of thoughts run. Sure, everyday, he feels his emotions weakening gradually. He could no longer express his emotions freely, as if he lost it the minute he surpassed humanity.
But still, with you by his side, at least he wasn't alone anymore. And even if it's a little troublesome, it's nice to have company. He actually couldn't describe it, how he acts when you're around. Nevertheless, he took you in because he simply saw himself, the moment you lost it all.
He finally stood from his crouching position, finished with watering the lone cactus. But suddenly, the door clicks open, causing him to whip his head towards the direction of the sound. He then goes to the living room, only to find you collapsed on the floor.
"O-oy!? (Name)??" Saitama panics a little, causing him to drop the watering can and run to your side.
"O-Oh.. Heya, Tama. Sorry, this is just... One hell of a training, is all." You managed to breathe out as you sat up, gripping his shoulder tightly with a grin plastered on your pained expression. Damn, your muscles hurt right now, and your pain tolerance isn't acting up any moment now.
"But hey, I finally managed to walk home for once." You whispered in a hoarse tone, your voice dried up from all that body building. This training was no joke, and you felt so dehydrated. You just wanna drink up and replenish your stamina, but your legs refused to move, so you ended up clinging to Saitama for help.
"Yeah, that's good then. Want me carry you to your futon?" He asks, his voice cracking with worry. He had his usual expression on, but his brows were furrowed in concern, and his face was covered in a cold sweat. This was your choice, and he respected that. But seeing his worried face again and again ticked you off. You didn't want to worry him anymore.
With that, you forced your legs to carry you, using his shoulder as a support. You managed to stand up on your own, but Saitama still followed your movement, holding your hand as he stood up with you slowly.
"I'm okay, Sensei, I can do this!" You turned to him with a thumbs up, your eyes sparkling with determination despite your shaking knee as you stood. He looked at you with a troubled expression, a sweat-drop plastered on his cheeks. You were shining with determination and all, so he couldn't bring himself to scold you about calling him teacher.
