My mind raced through all the possibilities of what could have happened. I had eaten sausage... Could it have been made out of...? I quickly ran to the hallway and threw up just at the thought if that was made from a human meat.
"Ari! Are you okay?" Tad said with a worried tone.
Regaining my strength I got up from the floor and wiped my mouth.
"Sorry I had a gross thought about the question I asked you earlier." I said still uneasy.
Tad still looked worried but he gave a reassuring smile. "As long as your okay."
" I have one question do you know how to get out of this place? It makes me uncomfortable being here."
"We should continue to find a way out." He said. Tad walked past me and continued walking down the corridor.
After trying a while we came to a room when we opened it an odd scent came from it. I had smelled it before but I couldn't identify it. I walked in looking around but for some reason Tad hesitated to go in. But he soon followed. The room had a bed that looked perfect for sleeping on. I was tired so I walked over and plopped on the soft cushiony covers. I wanted to sleep but out the window you could see a tiny bit of sun peeking over the horizon. Tad was looking out the window staring off. It looked like he had something on his mind what could it be?
"Tad? What's wrong?" I asked.
"Nothing... It's just... I'm sorry for bringing you here I though you could end this." He turned his face away from me staring at the wall.
"End what? There was another reason you brought me here." I said in shock.
Tad looked ashamed but he stared into my eyes as if trying to figure out something.
"I haven't been honest with you... I knew this is where your family lived but everyone in your family is cursed to never rest after they die. Your parents are dead but their spirits still live here in the house that is why you can't leave..."
"Don't you mean why we can't leave the house." I said as I interrupted him.
He was looking so hurt inside so Tad looked at the ground. "No! I can't leave because... because I died years ago! He shouted.
"How could...!?"
