My Guide

My eyes wide open still shocked, I managed to get out a full sentence. "But, Tad doesn't that mean...that your related to me, if you can't leave." I said hoping I was wrong.
"Yes... I am related to you... your my little sister. Our parents had me first they tried to use me to get people to this house. But I couldn't do the job well, they were ashamed of me. Then one day they both walked into the room and told me that Mother was pregnant. Father said that they didn't need me anymore so... he stabbed me and left me to bleed out." Tad said as he point at a stain on the floor.
It occurred to me that this was his room where he died. As more light poured into the room she could see everything in it more distinctly. His bed was in the middle of the room and there was a dresser to the right of his bed with a mirror with Tad not in it.
"Tad..." I ran up to him and hugged him . "Do I have to kill our parents in order to escape?" I said quietly.
"Yes," He said as he backed away from me. "Let me be your guide." Tad's shape began to change into a silver butterfly. "You didn't know it, but I've been helping you ever since you arrived." He said in his soft voice.
  I finally understood... He was my guide, so that I could set him free.
  "Let's go!" I said while following the silver butterfly.
   Tad shined bright and lit the way. He told me that Father and Mother could be killed by the knife I picked up earlier, because the curse made them rot in they bodies with their spirits still inside. All we had to do was find them and where they were. Tad glowed brighter as they neared a door. So I opened it seeing a staircase leading down. By instinct I stepped back, but Tad flew down the long narrow staircase. 
  "Wait." I said in a shy voice, hoping I wouldn't get the attention of my deceased parents. But I quickly followed him down the stairs. My mind was telling to go back that this was a bad idea. I agreed with it but my feet kept pulling me forward. When I reached the bottom I saw the most horrific site in the world.
