Tools coved in dry blood hung from the ceiling . In the middle of the room lay a pile of bodies with maggots crawling around them. The stench was unbearable I ran to a corner and began to throw up. Then I realized I was in front of a furnace. Out of curiosity I opened. The door see black skeletons, from being burned. I jumped back and fell on my butt. Once I got up I realized it was wet... When I looked back I saw that I had blood covering the back of me.
"Hurry! This way." Tad yelled.
Immediately I remembered what I had to do and ran to find Tad.
Now he was burning bright as ever, almost blinding me. In front of us stood a single door.
"They're in there. Please end this... I'm counting on you." Tad spoke with a slight amount of sadness.
I looked at the silver butterfly and spoke. "Tad, even if I didn't know the living you, I still love you."
The butterfly's form shift back into Tad. He walk over to me and kneeled. "I shall always remember that even after I pass." He said looking at me with his big blue eyes.
I turned back to the door and knew what I had to do. Slowly I walked forward, I wrapped my fingers around the handle and swung open the door.
Two people stood in the room and turned at the sound of the door opening. The man that was cutting my face and the women with the veil over her head were both there.
"I told you we made this girl to perfection, look at her beauty." Father said looking into my eyes.
"I have to agree, the perfect lore for our food. But..." Mother spoke.
I noticed her face pointed to Tad. Her smile had vanished and then she spoke again. "What are you doing here? We killed you! You should be dead!" She shouted.
Father's face also looked surprised but he didn't speak. Tad look at our parents with disgust and fear. "You should call your son by his real name, and love him not kill him!" Tad screamed back.
All this fighting made me mad I could bear to watch. So I threw the knife into Mother's chest and she collapsed. A few moments after she let out a horrid scream and turn to dust. Father rushed to where she was standing he look sad for a moment until he saw the knife and picked it up. Now he crept toward me armed. What was I thinking? Now he has the weapon and I don't.
"Run!" Tad screamed. I decided to do as he said and turned round and sprinted. I rushed up the steps, wandering through corridors with my Father behind me holding the knife.
I tried to throw things in his way so he couldn't get to me. I couldn't keep up this pace but I finally came to a door. My Father was close behind me so I quickly swung open the door...
THUMP! My eyes followed to where the sound came from but I didn't like what I saw. Tad lay limp on the floor with a knife stuck inside his body.
"NOOOO!" I ran to Tad's side and began spouting words. But Tad put his finger to my lip and then he lifted him self up to kiss my cheek. Then he disappeared into a bright burst of light, leaving only a single knife. My fingers grabbed the hilt of the knife and I stood. I looked at my Father with tears in my eyes.
"You caused this! You must die!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. I charged forward, Father started to run but I was quicker and cut across his stomach. Letting his guts pour out as he collapsed on his knees. I watched him turn to dust. A peaceful fell spread out through the house. I walked out into the warm sunlight back into the woods.
