Falling For My Brothers Best Friend

Just another normal day...

"Sydney get up you're going to be late for your first day of school!" My mom yells from down stairs. 

I slowly lift the sheets off my head and allow my soft tan skin to absorb the sunlight's rays. I throw one leg over the side of my bed then the next following in suite. 

I yawn and I grab the hair tie off my night stand and shuffle my way to the bathroom connected to my rather large bedroom. I turn on the water and undress myself as I let the steam fog up the mirrors.

 I stand in the water for a few seconds allowing the warmth to soak in my skin. I finish up my shower and wrap a towel around my hair and then my body.

 I walk over to my closet and shuffle through a few shirts, and eventually decide on a gray sweater with a black heart. Paired with black skinny jeans, a soft gray beanie and my dark grey vans.

 I walked back into my bathroom, dried my hair and straighten it, applying a light layer of make up. I walked down stairs and see my brother Austin playing video games on the couch.

 I walk over with a pillow and seek up behind but stop when I see Aiden sitting beside him staring at the pillow in my hands. 

i held and finger to my lips keeping him quite and and he complied. I sneak up behind him and wack him in the back of the head. 

"Ouch Sydney!" He yelled as he regained his balance and gives me a scowl. 

"Run." Is all Aiden said as he jumped on top of my brother and I ran out into our back yard.

 I hid behind a humongous tree. I felt a hand wrap around my waist and I squeal in surprise. I look up in fear to see Aiden sending me his signature smirk. 

Then drags me by the arm out of the yard, when my brother caught sight of us he began to charge towards us. 

"Come on! We can beat him to my car." Aiden yells as we start running to his car. We hop in just in time as Austin reaches the car and walks in the house in defeat, but not before saying "This isn't over" 

"Should we wait for him to come back out?" I asked Aiden even though my brother can drive. 

"No, he's a big boy he can drive" Aiden says chuckling just a tad. And begins to pull away from the curb.

 As we pull into the parking lot of the school and text my best friend Amy that I got a ride from Aiden and was already at school, and i would be waiting for her at my locker. 

"I'm not gonna lie sweetheart you look hot." Aiden says as he send me a wink and smirk. I turn my head away from him and feel heat rising to my cheeks.   

Aiden climbs out of his driver seat and makes his way over to my door. With a light tint of pink on my cheeks still, I abide and thank him as i climb out.

"I'll see you around sweetheart" He throws me his signature wink and smirk. He leaves me standing there wondering what the hell just happened. 

I walk into the school regaining a steady heartbeat.  I clear my head of anything the just happened. But, not before my best friend Amy jumped on me and practically gave me a heart attach. 

"Sydney! I missed you so much over summer break. It's like we haven't seen each other in ages!" Amy yelled still on top of me.

"Ames, we went shopping yesterday.." I gave her a bank look an she started sliding off of me. 

"OH YEAH!" She realizes. And we both started to giggle. 

We looked at our schedules and realized we had 2 classes together. Geometry and English. We began to start to walk to our first period together, until I ran into a hard chest.
