Well, here we go again. I just want to remind you guys that this is not your average werewolf story: girl meets boy, boy turns out to be an alpha, they have issues, they fix the issues and they live happily ever after.... NO. I am dead tired of the stereotype stuff, and am not planning on letting the book get like that. Ever. So please give it some time and read it. Comments and votes are always welcome..... "What do you mean: all part of the plan?" I whispered, looking up curiously as Mason helped me off the couch and handed me my jacket.

"That´s for me to know and for you to find out" he said mysteriously, smiling as he walked towards the door and he helped me put on my jacket.

"What the hell...?" I muttered under my breath, unsure as to what Mason was planning.

"Let´s just say that tonight I wanted to enjoy every second of your company.....and you know I love to watch you sleep" Mason told me as he guided me outside.

The night sky had cleared up, and now I could only look up in wonder at the view above me. Thousands and thousands of stars were visible, twinkling in the pitch black sky. My mouth was probably hanging open, and I smiled when Mason wrapped his arm around my waist. As I rested my head on his shoulder we looked up into the sky, and this stupid grin I had on my face was pretty ridiculous.

"You know how incredibly cheesy this is, right?" I whispered, smiling sweetly at Mason.

He chuckled, a low rumble that vibrated in his chest, as I nuzzled closer to him, my head resting in the crook of his neck.

"I know. But it´s working all right, isn´t it?" he asked, pushing back a few strands of my hair.

I didn´t answer, and we stood in silence like that for a while.

"Come on. I still need to show you something" Mason said, before starting to walk.

At first I though we were going to the car, but Mason dragged me in the direction of the rocky cliffs that covered one side of the lake. Where the forest turned into mountains, huge trees turned into large boulders and rocks, and the green grass turned to sand and pebbles. My brow was furrowed, and I was unsure as to where Mason was taking me.

He was very helpful, guiding me and holding my hand. The clumsy me would have fallen at least a dozen times. I swear, I´ve seen new born foals walk with more grace than I did. I kept tripping and wobbling. Darn! Maybe I shouldn´t have worn pumps.....

When we finally came to a stop, it was in front of what seemed like a steep stone wall. On closer inspection it was a sort of a cliff, about 15 feet high and in different shades of gray that surperseded each-other. It was dark, so the shadows and crevasses made it seem like a painting, a blend of one hundred of different tones of grey.

"What is this place?" I asked, curiosity taking the better of me.

"We´re not there yet" Mason said, smiling down at me.

"Please don´t tell me we have to climb" I yelped, looking up at Mason.

He had the nerve to laugh at me!

"No, love, we don´t" he assured me, taking my hand into his again.

Then he proceeded into leading me to an opening in the stone´s surface. It was nearly invisible, hidden between two slabs of stone that nearly overlapped each other. I watched in amazement how Mason just disappeared, and If he hadn´t been holding my hand I would have been left standing there, gaping like an idiot. Mason was leading the way, the opening inside the rock turning into some sort of stone corridor. A cave, I realized, naturally formed but resembling human construction....
