"Hello Dannie how have you and Chris been," I asked over the phone.
"We have been good so when you come home are you going to take over or do you want to leave everything in my son's hands," Dannie asked.
"From my understanding Dannie yall have already completed the ceremony. Therefore, it would only be fare for my brother who is just learning about this world if things stay the way they are, I do not want him to feel like this was all joke. If he is anything like my mother then things like this will mean more to him than anything else. I also, wouldn't be a very strong alpha because I have yet to find my mate. I know she close just how close I don't know, and yes before you say anything I know for a fact it will be a she, my wolf has already sensed her close by," I said remembering what Dannie has told me about Mika I just hope that he doesn't get upset with our mother if he isn't already.
"You do know that what you're doing can't be undone once you come home, say you were to change your mind we can't take Andrew's title away the power has already taken form in both Andrew and Mika," Dannie said.
"Dannie I am well aware of this I felt it happen I was physical weak for almost a week I had to stop and rest," I said reminding Dannie what happen when the second in commands son take the role of alpha then the true heir loses strength that an alpha pup would have.
"Wow I forgot that that happens I mean knew it did I just completely forgot I'm so sorry," Dannie said.
"Dannie there's nothing to be sorry for even if my mother hadn't had sent me away I wouldn't have taken the role as alpha I just don't want that kinda of responsibility and my father knew that when he passed," I said.
"Is that why you stayed away for as long as you did so that the only option me and Chris had was to hand down the title to Andrew and Mika," Dannie asked.
"Yes Dannie it's why I stayed away you see I knew that if I came home before Andrew was to get the title then I would have to have either taken the role or had to give it to Andrew so I stayed away giving Andrew the title," I said.
"I see, well when should I expect you home I will need to let the gamma know so that the patrol doesn't mistake you as a threat to the pack," Dannie said.
"I should be home by Christmas I will be traveling by wolf, also my mate is in this pack I know because I'm not far home," I said.
"Very well then I will see you soon," Dannie said.
