Charlotte POV
I was getting ready for the dance, I curled my hair, did my makeup, and put on my dress.
Soon enough Henry showed up and as I walked down the stairs his jaw dropped and his mom excitedly says "oh, oh Henry! Get over there so I can take a picture. After taking a lot of pictures we started heading to club soda (aka winter formal) and we began to head in. We saw Jasper with Chloe and I coukd see pain in Henry eyes. He gripped my hand tighter. He went to get us drinks but there was a long line so I decided to dance. Then a slow song came on and Henry came at the perfect time. As we were dancing we started gazing into each other's eyes and we just stared. It was like time stopped, and we are the only ones on earth. He began leaning in, as did I but he broke eye contact and ran out of the building. I went after him but gave up. I sat down when I heard "he really likes you Charlotte" I recognized the voice to be jaspers I just got up and left. A sad end to a sad night.
