Elijah had always wanted a child of his own , but due to his condition as an original he wasn't able too, at least that's what he believes. What he wanted most was a little girl , someone he could hold to make him feel a little human again , someone he could comfort in her time of needs and mostly to have a family of his own.
Elijah was passing through the town of Ohio finishing some business when he came upon a small orphanage. He looked at the little children out of boredom until a little girl caught his eyes.
She has brown hair and was wearing a very clean but old ragged dress. Her body looked so small and so fragile. He didn't know or how but he felt drawn to her.
She was not playing with the other children in the game of 'hide and seek ' but was sitting on the ground hugging her knees, her brown bangs covering her face with didn't get to see yet.
He wondered why she was like this and before he knew it he was walking up the orphanage steps and knocking on the door.
Wanting to know more about the child.
