The girl woke with a start. She knew she wasn't alone as she heard the loud stomps of foot steps edging closer. Flashes of white lights glistened from the sky and the rain caused the poor girl to be drenched. She glanced around her surroundings and looked puzzled.

"Oi! You!" Bellowed a voice from behind. The girl whipped around in fright. A gleaming light of the voices flashlight hit her in the eye. "What you doing here eh?" The deep voice drew closer and she could finally make out figures. A small chubby man holding the flashlight was scuttling towards her, while a tall, broad man was walking a few paces behind.

"Answer me girl!" Barked the smaller one of the 2. The flashlight still blocking her vision. The girl tried to get up to face the 2 men coming towards her but she knew it was a bad idea the moment she stood up. Her vision went blurry and several silver specks began to whirl around her eyes. "Brickle, lower your flashlight, the girl will go blind." Said the taller man calmly. "This girl be trespassin' on property! Showed up out of nowhere! No invite, no escort, nothin'! She ain't supposed to be here isn't she. Think she is one of 'em." Brickle whispered into the taller mans ear.

The girl was highly confused. Trespassing? Invite? One of them? It didn't add up. "What's your name?" Asked the taller man, causing the girl to snap out of her thoughts. "Oh I'm-" she paused. Her name? What was her name? She didn't remember. She didn't remember the minutes, the years, the life she had before she woke up. "What is your name?" Repeated Brickle gleaming the flashlight in her eyes again. "I-I don't know." The girl replied, looking down the street as if to expect something to be there.

"What's that your holding eh? Weapons to kill Mr Anderson. I knew you was one of 'em. Been afta' Mr Anderson for years Huh? Bet yah wanted somethin' from 'im. Well it ain't here so-" "Brickle! Calm your self." The taller man shouted over the roaring thunder that could be heard over head. The taller man walked slowly over to her like she was a wild animal. "May I see that satchel?" The man asked hold out a bony, pale hand in front of him. The girl didn't budge, she gripped the satchel tighter. "Please?" The man added."

With great reluctance the girl handed over the satchel. Within moments, the remnants inside the bag had been lured out onto the wet, muddy grass. Brickle and the taller man were examining papers and clothing and some type of knife, the girl tried to look over the taller man's shoulders to see what they were trying ever so desperately to find. But every attempt to tried, Brickle gave her a piercing glare. His yellow eyes following her as she backed away a few inches.

"Rundull! Rundull! Look!" Squealed Brickle, who seemed to be holding a tiny pamphlet. The girl glanced over but Rundull blocked her way. She heard the frantic raspy whispering between the 2 men and she tried to get as close as she could without getting caught.

"She is one of 'em! He fatha' been locked up fo' years. Reckon she's here to finish the bloody work? Mental her fatha' was. Bit me once. I didn't do anythin' wrong but I got the blame. When he finally gets in trouble he be calling me to help 'im! Like I wo-" "Brickle, are you positive it's her?" "It is 'er! Same brown eyes as 'er old man! Nutter that one I'm telling you."

The girl couldn't hear the rest as thunder roared overheard and the rain turned to hail, hitting the three hard on the head. The girl yelped, attempting to cover herself from passing out. She hurried under the oak tree that lay a few feet ahead.

What was he talking about? Who was my father? What was he? What did he do? Was he insane? Was she insane? How- "OI GIRL COME 'ERE!" Shouted Brickle over the down pour of hail.

She trudged over slowly but swiftly. As she approached Rundull and Brickle, Brickle began to turn red with anger, his head was swelling like a balloon and he kept flipping the knife that he found in the satchel.
