Cassie shut the door behind her and turned to face James. He was looking at her with much concern. Cassie was panting, her face felt like her face was on fire. She was panting, confused and upset. "Cassie?" James asked, jumping to his feet. "I'm fine really." She panted, "Just-oh who am I kidding!" Cassie waving her arms in the air, "I'm not fine. I don't know what the hell I am doing!"

"Cassie, just tell me what happened."

"I saw a portrait."

"A portrait?"

Cassie nodded, James, still confused turned to the mirror and looked around, seeming to be looking for something. Her turned back to her, "Of who?"

"My father and mother and Neal."

"What?!"

"And there is more," James leaned in to let Cassie know he was listening. Cassie breathed and continued.

"There was a plaque underneath the fountain when I went to Iris and A-..and I saw a fountain with a plaque and to my dismay, my father was on it, honoring the creator of the house that were standing in. James, I don't know who or what to believe anymore."

"So you don't trust me?" James asked. Cassie opened her mouth to speak but bit in her tongue. How can I trust James? Do I? Well I mean I just told- "I don't know James." Cassie stated. James looked hurt but nodded, "Anything else you want to tell me Cassandra?"

"Rundull, you don't know me, I don't know you. I have woken up from a coma with no memory. You don't have a god given right to just get mad at me. I don't even trust myself. You are a man or at least I thought you were so if you want to get mad because I said I don't know it doesn't mean no. But it doesn't mean yes. And if you just want to whine about it to Brickle you might as well leave now." Cassie finished.

James didn't move and didn't speak. "Sorry Cassie. I just-"

"Just drop it James."

"But I-"

"DROP IT!" Cassie roared trying to open the door but realized she locked it. James pulled her back, "James-"

"Shhh-do you hear that?"

Cassie pressed her ear against the door and then moved up to the peephole to see Brickle and a bulky, bull frog like man standing in front. She pressed her ear against the door once more to hear anything.

"You sure she is in 'ere Peter?"

"Oh positive Stan. She is in 'ere alright. 'eard that temper of 'ers." James nearly knocked Cassie over as he lurched for the door. Cassie pulled him back, "You don't wanna be given away, James." Cassie whispered. James nodded, panting hard as Cassie learned back into the door frame. "I swear I 'eard 'er. Leaped past us all at them dinner party with James. Suspicious behavia' if yeh ask me." Brickle pointed a chubby finger at himself. The man called Stan glared a big green eye into the peephole. Cassie gasped, locked the door and shoved James away.

"We need to leave or get out of here. Brickle is going to find us and do god knows what. We have to go now!" James nodded and squinted his eyes in thought. He brightened up and unhinged the old windows. "Are you mad?!" Cassie hissed as James picked up a rope from his bag. "The best people are." He hoisted Cassie up as she heard Brickle' rage from outside the door. "Jump Cassie now!" "What about you James!" Yelled Cassie over the roaring wind.

"I'll hold him off for the time being just go!"

Before Cassie could protest James unhooked the rope and Cassie was screaming as she fell faster and faster. Her eyes burning from the wind and she was getting goosebumps from the cold. Splash! Cassie had fallen into the warm water of the massive pool outside. Her head throbbed once more.
