The day that followed Cassie's accident could be considered the worst morning of her life.

She dreamt that night of a windy road leading endlessly down into a forest, full of houses and what seemed to look like human elves. As she went further she noticed a big shack, illuminating the surrounding houses. A boy and a girl came from the house. Echoes came all around, the boy extended a big hand, "Come with us Cassie, come with us-"

"Cassie!" Shouted Iris who had opened the curtains. Cassie squinted her eyes as she woke up but as soon as she did, she felt nauseous, dizzy, and had a horrible headache. "Erm, hello Iris." Cassie mumbled rubbing her eyes and stretching her back which cracked. "How did you sleep ma'am?" Iris asked, placing a silver tray of hot chocolate with whipped cream and chocolate drizzle, French toast, potatoes and eggs.

"Fine I suppose." Cassie replied, who still felt horrible. She took a bite of the French toast and felt a tad bit better, but still felt horribly dizzy. "My word, you look dreadful!" Squeaked Iris, who dashed into the bathroom to turn on the bath. "Well, I mean I've lost my memory, I haven't slept well and I am very hungry." Cassie said as she gobbled up the potatoes.

Iris laughed as she reappeared from the bathroom. "You don't have any big plans for today, only Mr Anderson wants to have a word with you." Cassie nearly chocked on her eggs. "Mr Anderson?!" Iris nodded, "B-but how does he know I'm here?!" Iris gave a sigh and turned to polish the wooden table next to the window.

"Pardon me Cassie, I didn't mean to eavesdrop, but Brickle told him you were here. Mr Anderson was puzzled and Brickle kept saying you were a S-sk." She either couldn't find the words or was to afraid to say them. "A Skeeper?" Asked Cassie, who took a sip of the hot chocolate.

"Yes! A-and I jumped in and defended you and that he had no right to think or say that. W-we fought for about ten minutes until Mr Rundull showed up and explained that you weren't one because we didn't have enough evidence. Mr Anderson, who didn't know who to believe, wants you to come to dinner tonight and meet some of the guests." Iris paused to take a breath. "Well thank you for standing up for me Iris." Cassie smiled. Iris gave a sheepish smile and then yelped as she had forgotten about the bath running.

Cassie put the breakfast tray aside and stood but sat back down as her nausea rose in her stomach like fire. Iris hurried into the room to help Cassie into the bathroom and placed her in the warm calming bath. Someone knocked on the door. Iris' hazel eyes widened as she adjusted her brown hair and hurried to the door.

Cassie who was curious as to know who was there, leaned against the bathroom wall. "Yes...tonight?..I don't know...goodbye." Cassie was puzzled again. What were they talking about? Who was at the door? Iris hurried back into the room and gave her a small smile before picking a shampoo bottle and examining it.

"Who was that at the door?" Cassie finally asked. "Oh um...no one important..." Iris' voiced trailed away as she picked up the soap at the opposite end of the tub and handed it to her. Cassie eyed her suspiciously as Iris smiled to herself and picked up the shampoo bottle again which slipped out of her hands and landed on Cassie's stomach.

"Oh lord! I am so sorry!" Iris squealed as she picked up the bottle and placed it back in its original spot.

"Well it was clearly someone important. Who? Tell me Iris come on!" Cassie begged. "Alright! Alright!" Iris laughed. She leaned in and helped Cassie out of the tub. "His name is Aaron. A servant to the Collins family. I met him last year and well, he is something." Cassie squealed as Iris pulled back some of her hair that had fallen out of place. "He wanted to meet me in the gardens tonight."

"Well then meet him!" Cassie said. But Iris' joy had vanished from her and she went very pale. "Oh well I can't! I have to accompany you at the dinner party." Cassie thought for a moment and an idea sparked in her head. She draped a soft blue towel around her self as air is brushed her blonde hair. "Well I mean you don't have to stay all night right?" "I suppose so..." Iris kept looking at Cassie in the mirror and reached for a hair tie. "Well after dinner when everyone goes to enjoy themselves, I'll say I'll need some fresh and and ask you to join me, then you will meet Aaron and everything will go as planned."
