Jongin left for work and I was alone watching TV in the living room.

"Adalyn," I turned to see Erin he's my editor .

"Hey Erin," I said he blushed Erin is Shy and Nerdy his Hazel eyes lit up.

"Jongin told me to come get the Article ," he said as he pushed up his glasses .

"It's in my office ," I said he nodded . "I'll go and get it bye Adalyn," he said about to walk away.

"Wait!" I said he looked at me surprised.

"Can I come with you,it's boring here," I said he cheeks became red I pinched them.

"So adorable,"I said

I opened the office door and saw the papers and I gave it to him .

"Adalyn,"he said I looked at him and smiled.

He smiled as well he lean towards my lips..

"What are you two doing," a voice said coldly

"B-Boss ." Erin stuttered Jongin eyes became dark. "Erin, follow  me to my office there is something I need to tell you." He gave me a cold look .

Erin walk pass Jongin leaving Jongin to look at me . "You should be at my house," he whispered "I got bored," I whispered back he walk out of my office and left me alone.

"Knock Knock!!" Rose said "What do you want?" I asked she held clothes. "David called me about you missing," she said "Where are you staying?" She asked I remembered what Jongin told me.

"Don't tell anyone your staying with me they'll think something is up," he told me coldly I looked at Rose. "A Motel not to far from where I live," I lied she nodded.

"Well I stopped by your house I got you some clothes ," she said I took them.

I looked behind Rose to see Erin walking pass I went up to him.

"What happened to your face ?" I asked it had a cut . "I fell as I was walking," he said he didn't seem like he was lying.

I looked at his cut and Rose took him to the break room.

I sat down at a table Rose grabbed a first aid kit. "I don't want to be a waste of your time ," he said I shook my head Rose cleaned away the blood with alcohol and a cloth she found in the cabinets.

"Can you hand me a band-aid?" Rose said I grabbed one and placed it over his cut Rose gawked at us.

Erin was blushing like crazy. "Your so adorable," I said he blushed more .

It was almost closing at work I was waiting for Jongin.

"You need a ride?" Erin said I looked at Jongin office he was packing his stuff.

"Maybe another time," I said he nodded blushing.

I went to Jongin's office he look at me then went back to packing. After he finished he walk pass me and went to the elevator and I followed.

"He likes you..." He looked at me . "Erin seems to like you ," he said I nodded he looked at his phone.

"How's your legs?" He asked "Okay," I said I started walking without my crutches.

I was fine I got off the elevator with my crutches in my hand.

I walked towards the door and went to his car.

"Jongin," I said he looked at me . "Thanks for helping me," I said he nodded and we both got in the car.

I sat on the couch Jongin came out of the shower a towel wrapped around his waist his torso was completely exposed .

I distracted myself with TV instead of staring at my boss half naked .

"I'm going to bed ," I said Jongin looked at me I walk pass him to the room he gave me.

I was against the door I had to take a break his body is making me faint.

I looked at the clothes and noticed my ring so I sat on the bed.

"You said you loved me so much ," I said to myself David words meant nothing during our wedding he promised he wouldn't hurt me anymore.

"I'm just caught in a CrossFire," I said

I looked at the ring . "Your part of it too," I said

I heard my door open Jongin came wearing a multi-colored  sweater and Sweat pants.

"Came to check up on you," he said I smiled he looked around the room .

"I hope it's not to small in here," he said "it's fine ," I said 

"Is that your ring?" He asked I nodded and put it between my fingers.

"I don't think I can stay with him any longer ," I said he sat next to me and pulled me into hug I was shock at fist, but I hugged him back I felt warm in his arms that  I let the ring drop from my fingers.

I looked into his eyes and I leaned in to kiss, but Jongin quickly got up before I could do it. "Goodnight," he said leaving the room.

"What was that?" I asked myself I touched my lips. I went under the covers and fell asleep my lips were still against my fingers.
