Hey! I'm sorry the other chapters were so short, but I promise this one will be longer! :) Now I know some of you might be confused, and have a few questions like "Why do the men hate the women?" and "Don't they want to continue the male race?" or "What does the war have to do with the women being hated?" etc. Well, all these questions, and hopefully more of them will be answered in this chapter :D Hope you like it!

[Devon's POV]
I paced down the hallway, with my hands clasped behind me. I kept wondering what She Mask had done to get chased. Had all the things my father said about her actually true? Was she really that dangerous?
Just as I came to a four way hallway, my Father came walking down with one of the guards. He didn't seemed pleased.
I hid myself behind one of the plants, as my Father stopped at the intersection.
"What do you mean she got away?" He asked, raising his voice. My heart rate spiked. She's okay! She managed to get away! I thought.
"Well, my Lord, she was very fast. As well as cunning." Replied the guard.
"Stevens, how did she get away?"
Stevens looked down, before answering my Father. "Well, my Lord, she jumped the wall, and when a couple of the wall guards came around, they couldn't see her anywehere."
My father took a couple of steps foreward before turning and spotting me. "Well, Stevens. She came here for a reason."
His eyes never left me, while Stevens shot my father a confused glance. "My Lord, I'm afraid I don't understand."
My father smiled, but didn't look away from me. "I think I know why, and if my hunch is correct, she'll be coming around again."
Father winked at me before turning on his heels and walking away, with the guard at his heels.
I came out from my hiding place that failed to conceal me. Why did he wink at me? I didn't care. I was just happy she made it out!
I smiled as I walked to my room for a rest before the sun rose. She sure is fast and intellegent. This girl is amazing. I thought, closing my bedroom door behind me.

[Maggie's POV]
I shut the front door to the cavern I lived in, trying to make no noise. I turned around to face the hallway. Mistress Hemey stood with her arms crossed in front of me.
"Where were you?" She asked.
I looked at her, not wanting to answer. However, I knew I had to.
"I went out." I said, looking away from Mistress.
"Young lady!" She yelled, shaking her index finger at me. Her eyes fell on my bloody arm I still held. She dropped her hand, catching my eyes. "You went to the Mansion."
"Yeah, so?" I said.
Her eyes dropped to my arm once more before she grabbed me and pulled me to the washroom. Once in the washroom, she sat me on the toilet, and scavenged through the cupbaord above the sink. I watched her hands flutter as she pulled products for tending to wounds from it. She then began to clean my cut.
"They sure got you good." She said after a long and awkward moment of silence.
"Yeah, they did. It was those stupid arrows." I said.
