The Day I Couldn't Forget

I opened my eyes due to the stinging light that came from my white curtains. I was soo tired, i never slept last night because all i was thinking about was... my birthday! I cannot believe it! I almost forgot! I wiped the saliva that was all over my right cheek and arm (i know... i drool and yea it's disgusting). I pulled my Iphone 6s out that was under my pillow and saw multiple of messages that popped up:
Happy Birthday best friend, Love you xx - Hayat
Happy Birthday Munchkin xoxo - Hanbin
Its a special day for my Little Princess! - Jinhwan
And it kept on going! i felt soo special for a second and just kept on squealing. The year has gone soo fast due to my best friends who made it amazing even though they are super busy, i couldn't thank them enough for all they have done for me. I love them soo much! xx

I had planned this day for almost a week! I pulled out my birthday costume that i had washed, dried and Ironed 3 times. It was summer so i was gonna wear my red ribbed crop top, a light demin shorts and my white high top airmax. It was perfect. I slowly walked down the stairs trying not to wake up my dad who came home at 4:00am this morning. As I gradually took the last step, a loud voice yelled "HAPPY BIRTHDAY POOKA!" I nearly fell backwards if I didn't hold on to the wall.

"Sorry honey, did i scare you?"
"No Shit Sherlock"
"Oh, i was just-"
"Don't worry Dad, I'm fine, thank you"
"Only the best for my Pooka!"
"Dad, i told you to stop calling me that..."

Every since i was born, they first word i would say was Pooka so i just grew on my dad and he started calling me that. However, i'm 18 years old today and i kinda wanna lose the nickname...

"I just wanted to say happy Birthday to my princess"
"Awww, thank you dad"
"Your mum would of said the same,"

Mum... I thought of my beloved mother. How nice it would of been if she was here. Just remembering her smile would make me sad. I remember when she was in hospital and she was really sick. I was like 8 years old and everyday after school i would go to the hospital and stay with her until my dad would pick me up. One day, she just wasn't there anymore and my dad told me she went to a beautiful place called 'Heaven'. I wasn't stupid, i knew she died. I remember crying everyday and wishing she was here.

I tried not too, as i was wearing make up. After a having breakfast and catching up with my dad, i called Hayat, My best friend. She told me yesterday that she would pick me up and take me out so i waited outside my house for her. As soon as i take on my porch, Bobby called me.

"Hello?"
"Happy Birthday Baby!!"
"Heya Bobby!"
"where are you?"
"Oh, I'm waiting for Hayat to come and pick me up, why?"
"That snail takes forever, Tell her when she picks you up, to hurry up."
"Umm...Okay"
"Alright see ya in a bit, Bye!"

Well, that was a quick convo. As i hanged up, A car beeped, I gazed up and saw Hayat waving for me to come in. I ran to her and jumped in her car. I told her about what Bobby had said.

"That Boy needs a lesson, he is such a pig!" I cried out laughing. She put her arms around me and kissed me multiple times. throughout the whole car ride, she went on and on about life and how it feels to be old and that. I seriously love her soo much. We got to the Yg Entertainment building and i was confused. What was i doing here? i didn't bother asking and we just walked in and went to the main hall.

"Hayat, what are we doing here?" and turned around and she wasn't there. I was soo baffled. As soon as i took a step forward, the light turned on, balloons flew around and people jumped out and yelled "SUPRISE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY JI-MIN!!". Rather than yelling, i laughed! i saw BIGBANG, 2NE1, WINNER, and IKON! They all ran towards me and hugged me. After hugging all the Nonna's and Oppa"s, i ran to my main family, Ikon. I hugged all separatly and kissed them all on the cheeks and thanked them for such an amazing suprise.

After speaking to everyone and receiving  my gifts, Everyone started to sing happy birthday for me and a bright light shined behind me. I turned and saw Hayat approaching towards me with a massive cake that had a picture of me and all of the YG family on it. She had a massive smile on her face which made my eyes water. I made a wish which was to be this happy all the time and have all my friends by my side . I blew out the candles and everyone cheered. The day couldn't be any better.

Yes, the day couldn't get better, it got worse... Much worse...
