Part 3:
My First Day
Hermione's POV :
I woke up extra early today. Turning off my alarm I saw that it was 5:30 am. I stood up and went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth. After brushing I changed into more comfortable clothes. I took out shorts and a simple white top then went downstairs.
The Malfoy Manor was no maze to me. Draco brought me here before because his parents wanted to talk to me and I stayed during the Christmas Break.
I arrived at the kitchen in no time. I saw that the elves were preparing breakfast so I excused my self and made a cup of coffee.
Before I could even get a cup Winky appeared in front of me.
"Yes Winky? How can I help you?"
"Winky shall do your coffee miss. Master Draco would be disappointed if Master found out that you made your coffee." Said Winky
Since it was early for me to argue I let him make my coffee but never left the kitchen. After a few minutes Winky came back and have me my coffee.
"How does it taste miss?" Asked Winky
I took a sip "It taste fine Winky. Can I ask you something?"
"Of course miss." Said Winky
"What time does Draco and the kids wake up?"
"Well if it's Master Draco he usually wakes up very early during his work days perhaps around 6:30 am but if it's Saturday and Sunday he usually wakes up around 7 am. Then the children wake up around 7 every day." Said Winky
"Thank you Winky."
Winky bowed and left. I just sat there drinking my coffee when I heard foot steps coming down the stairs and into the kitchen. I turned around and saw Draco.
"Morning Hermione. I'm glad you still know your way here." Said Draco
"Yeah. But isn't it a bit early for you to wake up. It still 6:17 am."
"Yeah I know. I couldn't really get some sleep after waking up." Said Draco
"Why?"
"Its nothing. We're just a bit low on snacks and I promised Phyton I'd be around to play with her. And I just realized I can't order the elves to do and my mom isn't around I'm totally cornered. It'll break my daughter's heart if I broke my promise." Said Draco
"Isn't that the reason why you hired me. I can do the groceries don't worry."
"Really Hermione? Thank you, you really are the best." Said Draco
"No problem. I'll leave in a few minutes."
Just then a cute little girl came down with her brother tailing behind.
"Good morning daddy. Good morning nanny Hermione." Phyton said smiling
"Morning Phyton."
Draco didn't return the good morning but picked up her daughter. Scorpius on the other hand wasn't good with mornings. He just went inside and I think asked the elves for his morning drink.
Since I knew I didn't belong here I stood up and was about to change when....
"Nanny Hermione were are you going?" Asked the voice of Phyton
"I'm going outside for a while to buy a few snacks."
"Can I come? Please." Said Phyton
I looked at Draco and he just shrugged at me.
