Chapter 8 - 3AM

Day 8

...but then Edward's watch alarmed. Ashley turned on the light of the watch, and it says 12:00AM. Then suddenly, a flashback appeared on her mind.

"They look like my black G-Shock watch-"

"Yeah, yeah, like we care about your watch."

Ashley checked her ankle. She saw the anklet that looks like Edward's G-shock.

"That's waterproof, so you don't have to remove then when taking a bath. Just don't lose them, please. They're hella' expensive."

"No! The anklet will alarm!"

Ashley looked at her anklet, and there was an indication of distance of her and Edward. It says there 79.8 meters. Terrified, she uttered, "What was I thinking?"

Ashley ran inside the club. Good thing, she saw Edward still near the bar with his bandmates. She pulled him out from his friends, but he resisted at first. "The hell, man?"

"You're drunk. It's late. Let's go," Ashley said as she pulled him away.

As they went out of the bar, Ashley forgot where Edward's car is parked. She frisked him to find his keys. She found them in his jean's pocket. So Ashley pressed the car button, and she heard it somewhere on the near right side.

When Ashley found the car, she put Edward in the backseat first. Edward was just sleeping on his seat. Ashley sat on the driver's seat. After that, she started the car. She turned on the radio, and Night Vision by Transviolet was playing. After that, she drove the car.

There were only few cars during midnight. City lights were more abundant than star lights. But as they reached Silversky, there were more stars present in the night sky.

When they reached the house, Ashley parked the car at the side. She tried to carry Edward, but his weight was so heavy. She dropped him on the doorway by accident. He was lying on the floor sleeping. Worried, she thought of a way to take him on his bed. She went inside to get something.

Ashley returned with a blanket and tied it on Edward's ankle. She pulled him on the way to the bedroom. When they reached Edward's bed, Ashley carried him with all her might to put him on his bed. She removed his shoes and put them on the floor. Ashley also untied the blanket and wrapped it on him.

Exhausted, Ashley lied on her bed. She guarded Edward in case something happens to him, until she fell asleep.

Edward woke up with a headache. "Oww!"

His hangover got worse when he saw the sun from the window. Edward looked for his phone on the bedside, but it wasn't there. So he frisked his pockets and found it. Edward looked at the time, and it was around 9:30 AM. The math equation was still on his phone, but his head was too dizzy to solve it. He just turned off his phone.
