CH13: Vicious Dragon Eyes

The blinding light disbands the attack from the little Corruption. The light begins to subside, only to reveal Azami standing with her hair covering her eyes.

Her pendant continued shine where it hung from her neck.

The Corruption became enraged seeing that he scrunches his teeth together, "Damn you Seraph!"

The magic sphere appeared once again, yet this time launching 3 attacks. One after another.

The ring of fire emerged in full blaze. The results remained unchanged. His attacks persist to be eradicated.

"How dare you trying to kill, Azami" the unusual voice revealed itself coming out of Azami.

*Who is that? That isn't the same girl from before,* thought the Corruption before he was taken by surprised.

Vicious sea green eyes froze the little Corruption into place. He was surprised that a mortal girl could possibly hold the frightening eyes compared to the demons he was familiar with.

Flames burnt away the shadows that held her feet, including the ones that seized Kukai and Amu. Once doing so, Azami's body walked toward the Corruption.

With flames seeping out of her mouth, "You're going to regret trying to kill Azami."

She throws a punch that is engulfed with flames. The Corruption nearly dodges it by swiftly flying higher.

Dragon wings spread behind Azami prior to taking off into the sky.

*Dammit, that little wretch is persistent,* the Corruption summons a blast which was deflected by a breath of fire.

This cycle of blasts and fire became a battle in the sky.

Down below, Kukai and Amu stood looking up at the heated battle.

"What is that thing that girl fighting against, Kukai? I've never seen a guardian chara like that before." Amu asks her male friend without looking at him.

It appears that the blinding light from Azami's necklace has given them the ability to see the tiny red character.

Kukai tightens his fist, "It's not a guardian chara, Amu."

"What? Not a guardian chara?" Miki asks floating above Amu's shoulder.

Amu looks at the guardian looking chara, "Then what exactly is it?"

"It's called a Corruption," Kukai glares at the form of it.

"Corruption?" Su repeats the name.

Without looking at Amu and her Charas, "If I remember correctly, her father told us a story about them once when we were kids. Corruptions are low class demons that persuade people's hearts to do sinful deeds."

This time Amu looks at Kukai, "D-Demons?! Are you serious?!"

Amu was dumbfounded. She finds herself feeling the same anxiety when she first herd of her powers of her humpty lock and her guardians charas, but this anxiety is upon a higher level. Gaurdian charas, and now Demons!?!

"What about the girl, Kukai? Is she some type of demon?" Amu assumes from the attire that the girl wore.

"No, she's a Seraph." Kukai responds.

"Seraph?"

Kukai nods, "Which means she's a guardian angel that fight against Corruptions."

Amu eyes extended.
