I arrive back home at the diner. The lights are still on inside, so I know everyone is waiting up for me. Probably worried out of their minds. I sigh and shut off the car, climbing out and through the door of the diner.
Everyone stands up and looks at me worried. I wave to them. Mikey runs to me and hugs me tight.
"I'm sorry I yelled at you." He says into my neck.
"Don't sweat it. I didn't leave because of that, Mikes." I say pulling away.
"T-then why did you leave?" Kaylina asks.
I sigh. "I went to see Dr. D."
"And?" Frank looks eager.
"I asked him about infiltrating the BLI. And there is a way." I look at everyone. They're all shocked.
"How..." Holly says slowly.
" A chemical, similar to the BLI's. But it doesn't wipe out my mind. So I can act like a Agent, but know why I'm there."
"Are you going to do it?" Mikey asks.
"That's what I need to ask you guys..."
I sit down on the couch next to Holly. Next to her is Party. They're holding hands. Aw. I look around at everyone, they wait for me to ask my question.
"Spit it out, bone head!" Kaylina yells at me.
"Oh, yeah. Well, is it okay for me to go off for a couple of months living as a BLI agent?" I say hesitantly.
Everyone looks at each other. Then they all look at Mikey. I bite my lip, nervous of how he responds.
"Do what you have to do, baby. Keep us updated." He winks at me.
I smile at him and get up to hug him tight. He kisses my cheek and strokes my hair. I pull away to look at everyone. They're all smiling. They all have hope. Hope that I'll figure out why the hell the BLI is doing this, and they hope I'll stop them.
Kaylina walks to me and hugs me tight. I hug back my sister, knowing these are the last moments I'll spend with her.
Kaylina's P.O.V
I can't believe my sister is going to do this. Is she crazy? She's been there so many times, I would never do that. But she's bound and determined to do this. When she sets her mind to something, she'll do it. And now she's going to do this.
I am happy though. I hope she finds out what those wackjobs are doing, and why they're doing it. Being on their side for a while will give her enough time to find out everything she needs to know, and make it look like she's really apart of it. She's clever.
"Adren, just be safe. I don't want my sister to be killed during this." I say to her.
She laughs at me and hugs me. "Don't worry. I'm sure they'll keep me alive."
I smile at her and look at my twin sister. Yes, we're twins. But now she looks so different with darker hair. She's always been that one twin who's determined, and I've been the one to shy away. Except with guys. That's a different story.
We all decide to go to bed. Frank pulls me by my hand into our room. He shuts the door and sits next to me on the bed. I wrap my arms around his neck and kiss him passionately. He grins as we kiss, pulling me closer by my waist.
"I love you Frank." I whisper.
"I love you too Kaylina." He looks in my eyes and says it outloud.
I smile at him and kiss him again. I can't get enough. He's my everything, I love him. I just can't stop kissing him, I love him so much. It feels so right when we do.
We crawl in bed. I lay on my side away from Frank, and he wraps his arm around me. I feel his chest against my back and I sigh. I love his touch. I hold his hand and fall asleep.
